I'd go with

Broadbent
L.Briscoe
Newman
T.Briscoe
Handley
Myler
Leeming
Thompson
Dwyer
Prior
Gannon
Martin
Smith

Holroyd
Walters
Donaldson
Johnson

We've got two fit props in Prior & Holroyd we'll struggle with saints pack but we've still got enough strike in attack too possibly too pose a threat too them gonna be a big ask too get 2 points but hopefully we give ourselves every chance. Be good too see so many youngsters get game time in a big game like this the likes of Newman, Broadbent, Holroyd, Gannon & hopefully Johnson they've all shown quality too be first team regulars pretty much so a chance too turn over Saints will hopefully spur them and rest of team on.

Quote: Marty Grrrrrrrrrr! "I doubt we would win at Saints with a full strength team out ive got to be honest. Different gravy those boys.'"

We’ve run them very close already this year, and that was with no halfbacks snd 12 men on the field.

We’ve also run the League winners close on two occasions.

We’ll give it a good crack I reckon

I think with a full pack playing we've proven we can challenge them, which will only be bolstered in 2022.

But the squad Agar has had to name here makes it almost impossible to win this game so we need to be realistic. We might go down fighting but we will inevitably go down.

I think that’s all we can ask of them to be fair, I don’t mind losing if weve given it our all, and to be fair in general this team under Agar has done that

Agreed our squad is really down to the bare bones, at least Saints are missing Paasi too, it’s going to be a very tough ask but we’re still in with a slim chance, we’ve still got some good players in our side.

Now I’m wondering whether we are going to play a predominantly young side for this and go all out for HKR.

Cas cannot risk loosing this, they need to win to make certain they make the 6, they wont want to risk having to beat Warrington next week, even if beating Rovers secures our spot.

Or go all out for the win against Saints AND go all out for the win against Hull KR.

The amount of people constantly calling to “rest” players is unreal.

It’s Agar’s squad not mine.

From that squad, assuming they are fit (which some won’t be)
Myler
T Briscoe, Newman, Broadbent, Handley
Martin, Leeming
Holroyd, Dwyer, Prior
Gannon, Donaldson
Smith

Thompson, Walters, O’Connor, A Sutcliffe

Be interesting to see if Broadbent, Handley and Myler can improve their defensive co-ordination. I’d play this side because 1-5 is pretty much first choice for next season, potentially. Prior and Holroyd complement quite well. Smith we’ve been saying should start. Walters, O’Connor and Sutcliffe should be fresh as daisies.

I think Broadbent will be full back, Myler half back and Martin in the second row with Donaldson on the bench. A Sutcliffe at centre and that’s the side for me.

Yep I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s close to the side Agar picks.

I’d like to see Broadbent pick his moments a bit - he’s almost too enthusiastic and tires himself out. If you watch him in back play he is all over the place.

A Sutcliffe brings defensive steel but hasn’t played in a good while; this is one of those where things being equal-ish, I’d select the player who will be here next year vying for that spot.

Either way I think we lose this mate - will be glad to be proved wrong! I won’t write Leeds off completely because these lads have a real battling spirit.
