| It was pathetic. That can not be played up at all. Six try's conceded to a championship team is woeful. And yet some still feel we could challenge the top teams. None of the top eight would have conceded half the points Leeds did today against London,
On the positive, I thought Ferres was very good and MOM. Sutcliffe looked very good, and Briscoe's support and finishing good. McGuire out I am not sure whether will be a bad thing, we looked better with him off in attack.

| Quote: leedsnsouths "For our attack on their line, it would help if we passed to the left and not just right, Hall might as well go stand outside briscoe on the other side as there is no point having a left winger at the minute.
Our soft defence is still a problem and we need to be well up for salford as it is a game they need to win.'"
Spot on about Hall, can't recall him touching the ball in the oppositions 20m.
The middle defence was poor, hopefully was a case of clocking off given the opposition/low key atmosphere and they'll be much improved vs Salford at Headingley.
---------------------------------------
Thought Sutcliffe went well at FB, took some tricky catches well and set off and dangerous runs. Watkins again looked the biggest threat, although completely c**ked up not finishing that try (perhaps a sign of a clocking off attitude in the team today). Keinhorst had a good game in the other centre position and set up Sutcliffe's try well. The forwards looked ok going forward and marched us upfield comfortably and good to see Cuthbertson manage a lot more minutes today but defensively as mentioned previously a lot of soft efforts and clocking off. Don't think Galloway came back on after being taken off around 25 mins in, hopefully it was a case of saving him for next week and not an injury, but thought Mullally could've been on earlier.

Week off - Salford at home next, a week on Thursday. They look gone but nothing's a given, certainly this year.

Probably best to nip this Jenna Brooks mistake early. London scored five tries to Leeds' eight. Very gallant of the respective coaches to not pick her up on it.

| Went through the motions and that was enough. A game of awful tempo and low intensity. Much better quality games in the National Conference League most weeks than that tosh.

Neither would Leeds have scored anywhere near half the points they did against the top 8.

| I found it difficult to concentrate on the game given the 80 minutes of utter sh|te being talked by the Sky commentators.

| I'd agree with what people have said about Moon, drifted in and out of the game and as a 6 has many of the same problems as the rest of our options there, i.e. needs an organiser next to him.
Defence around the ruck was poor, Garbutt and Cuthbo especially off the pace, as well as Mullaly, though he has some sort of excuse. McGuire looks just about done to me, even if he could find last seasons form again his body is broken, and it's not big unfortunate injuries like JJB, little and often injuries can be just as bad.

| I was reliably informed a few weeks ago that Leeds have set out to win the first 4 games and then send a few of the lads away on holiday. If they win the next game, I expect to see a very different line up for the last few. Still clear to me that we are papering over the cracks in the halves. Big problem.

i guess they were far too pre occupied by looking at her pearly white porcelain teeth to pick up on such a minor indiscretion on her part

i take it that you mean that certain players could miss the batley game at home?
they will however be available for selection to play the last 2 games against giants and leigh

More than acceptable, therefore it is officially 6 tries to 8, and, as per the Hull KR game thread, stats alone are inadmissible.

| More seriously, I thought Joel Moon showed some good running, and kicked well, but Leeds (should) expect more than that from a half.
If anything, he's nailed down a place at centre.

True, but worth baring in mind that I believe that's his first start in the halves for Leeds. Whilst he has played a few games there in his NRL days it's probably worth considering that he's hardly going to be Jonathan Thurston on his first crack in that position in several years.
Not saying we should, but if we gave him a prolonged run at HB I think he would actually do well there in SL.
