At least Leeds fans don't attempt to set fire to their own shirts after a defeat.

Yes all Leeds football fans fight and when they turn up to the rugby league they obviously all fight...........no sweeping generalisation there at all
Sadly bell-ends turn up at all sports..........if caught name and shame them and ban them from every RL ground in the country.

Keep your challenge cup and we'll keep our championship thanks.
Either way there were idiots from within both sets of fans............as ever
At a GF youve just got to hope you don't end up stuck sat near a set of beered up knobs........more needs to be done about refusing drunken fans admission into the ground.

You're an idiot, run along and play somewhere else or start thinking of a new user name.

| We had a really bad experience in the Leeds end in 2007 where someone vomited all over us and several others. We were sat in RFL seats this year. Paying more than we wanted to but was well worth it. Sat with wire Leeds, saints hull hullKr and cas shirts.
It was a brilliant atmosphere predominantly because we were all adults. Yes there was banter but people who were drinking were doing so responsibly and it was a great occasion

| Like any sporting event there's a xriss section of society. If 1 person in 1000 is a bell end. Youre still going to get about 70 at old trafford on GF night.

| One mans banter is another mans abuse. I personally tend to not bother getting involved with toing and froing as people as less able to take banter the more they drink. And at 6pm on a saturday, theres a lot of time to be drinking.

| Depends what people go for. If they want to go for the occassion then having a few drinks is all part of the day, but if you want to really enjoy the game itself then you'll do it better if you don't bother.
What's banter for a couple of groups whove had a few beers might be quite intimidating for a family nearby.

| Quote: bewildered "The worst incident just before the players came on involved a wire fan in an away shirt. I don't know what started it but even if he started it he didn't deserve what happened to him. The other people involved had no club colours but when wire scored none cheered but they could still have not been leeds fans. It was disgusting though what they did. Utter scum and if they are picked out and are season ticket holders for any club they deserve a lifetime ban. quote]
What he said, although there is no need to ban these idiots if they are banged up for GBH, which is what I saw yesterday.
Glad to see everyone condem what happend.
Now who knows the name of the fella in the black and white hooped top, who had his hair shaved at the sides?

| I started drinking at 11am and finished at 12 midnight, so obviously had quite a few...HOWEVER.....I can handle it and know when enough is enough, unlike some. The RFL won't ban drinking at games because of the revenue it generates. Personally I can take it or leave it, but if it avoids trouble i'd be happy for them to ban alcohol at games and be more stringent when it comes to people who are already drunk being allowed in.

First of all congratulations to Leeds on winning the game. I thought you deserved it on the night. Now, the thread. There are a lot of people commenting on the alcohol consumption of certain "idiots" as a person who also goes to army v navy games I think the banning of alcohol would be a bad idea. At these games most are well oiled before the game even thinks about starting. Would this ban affect us? May be, maybe not. Policing of these games is always well done with the sale of beer restricted. I think the RFL should look to this as an option and probably go to this day as well. Yes I know what most of you are thinking but I am a staunch wires fan and have held a season ticket since the dark ages. Hopefully the Army v Navy games will become a league spetical as apposed to an RFU one.

He, in the words of Alan Partridge was pure sub-human scum! Typical hard lad though as when the orange coats waded in he it and ran away. Pussy!
My dad was still talking about it today. He said he was sickened. If they were leeds fans I hope them get and STD and it hurts
