Was it Kirke who bomed a certain try in the second half just next to the SS? Was furious at that. |

Anyone else think that BJB would be a better option at FB to Smith at the moment? Smith looks slow, and unfit, and just plain lazy at times. I didn't have that much of a problem with the actual miss on Lunt in the first half, but it was how slow Smith was to get accross to him in the first place. Hopefully by next season he will have regained his previous form for Leeds and do well, but at the moment he's a liability.
One final negative point. Why do we wait until we're on the brink of defeat before we attacking with any urgency. The McGuire try for example was one of the few times we actually moved the ball along the line with pace and with runners making themselves available. We need to do that more consistantly.
On a posative note. Buderus was outstanding, and JJB was too in the second half and ran him very close for MotM. McShane was much improved when he came on, especially in defence.'"
Yes the defence is as poor as it's been for some years - we've kept the opposition to less than 20 points in only 6 out of 22 games this season. Hopefully once the team becomes more settled and the 'business end' of the season (and the CC) approaches, it will tighten up. |

Yet another poor display where nothing was learned from last week. Once again no enthusiasm or hunger displayed.
Obviously you can have go's at certain players for this and that, but the two that should really hold their heads in shame on Friday are Smith and Donald. Very weak tackling from both, and back to the pea for heart commitment shown from Donald.

Again you come up with this! 
If there was no hunger or enthusiasm we'd of lost and lost heavily.
I agree the performance wasn't the best but still better than last week imo and they still had the enthusiasm,hunger and desire whatever you want to call it to come back and beat a play-off team.
I think Smithy was the most dissapointing in terms of defence along with Kirke.
They also didn't let 2 controversial tries get them down and bounced back we are struggling to get to our best no doubts but you can't win a game at this level without enthusiasm and hunger. |

You need to stop been so naive rhinoms.
Just because we win, does not mean we display the qualities we need. You can win and play rubbish, it happens plenty of times in the game. Just like you can lose and play well.
We were lucky that Huddersfield were even poorer than us, and looked like a team that had given up on this season. We lacked enthusiasm and we lacked hunger, whether you like it or not. Our line speed was woeful, and nothing demonstrated the lack of enthusiasm more than when we were losing and twice at a scum we made no intention of trying to form it quickly, we just dawdled.
At least our coach recognised this at the end when he said "We lacked enthusiasm". But following on from various other games the same, I am starting to worry whether he is managing to lift them sufficiently.

Lacking enthusiasm doesn't mean there wasn't any at all what do you call the last 10 minutes if we didn't have any enthusiasm or hunger at all as you stated?
We didn't fire into the tackles and play with the intensity we know we can and have seen but they were still enthusiatic and hungry enough to comeback and win.
I've already said we were far from our best but better than last week that's an opinion not naive.!
You can also see we can "step up" as proved with tye games against Saints,Wigan and Wire twice.
Consistency is no where near i completely agree and i also think we aren't a million miles apart with who has/hasn't performed so far this year i just think saying that there was NO enthusiasm or Hunger whatsoever is off the mark because imo you can't win a game without it. |
