The high standards your talking about are clearly just in your mind. If you look at my bedroom it is not even fit for a pig to reside in never mind myself. Just because I want something that’s permanent or at least longer than a few months isn’t high standards.

Anyways I’m currently recovering from a strained foot and no longer on Job Seekers Allowance. Moved onto the incapacity benefit which means I don’t have to go to a job centre or BEST!

Currently got around four MC’s wrote for my album and will probably get the rest done within the next few weeks. After that my Mcing career is over (probably is before it started anyways…)!

Just for those who are concerned about my highs standard of job picking I’ve applied to be a cleaner, retail assistant, warehouse person amongst other things.

I really hope your not serious about being given incapacity benefit for a sore foot, if so the system really has gone mad

Comments like I have read from you about being happy living on benefits sums things up for me and its people like you who shouldn't get the help if they are have that attitude the help should go to those who are willing to put in the effort and want to change there life rather than seeing it as something to joke about.

I nearly threw up when I had to go back on the dole. My sister was in tears when she was threatened with the dole queue. Fortunately for her she found a job.

I’ve just got used to it rather than putting myself down about it all. Made the best about the situation because its not as bad as I though it originally was.

Then dont drop out of every chance your given like you have bragged about on here and take anything to change things, apply for agencies and you never know what doors it may open. Same if you had stayed in ASDA and put up with it rather than spitting your dummy out, carry on going to BEST and accepting the help offered - the more you do the better it looks on you and the more chance you have of finding something.

At Asda you get all your social life taken away and was made to work for peanuts when I could just sit at home getting the same thing. This was concluded with the uncertainty of employment at the end of it and could of just turned into another Mickey mouse experience. If I was still with the company who sent me to Asda I would have been cheap labour for a number of companies throughout Leeds by now.

BEST cooked up nothing but broken promises. The staff are completely clueless and made me wait to see a placement officer. I’ve never encountered such a lottery organisation in my life where its first come first serve. Even when I was first I had to wait so I knew I was wasting my time here.

Things got worse when I found out several are soon to complete their 13 weeks with no job. What does that say about BEST?

Like many other I’m fed up of uncertainty and want consistency. If I keep complaining at the rate I do hopefully someone will give me a job just to shut me up..

DAMO I worked at ASDA for 3 years, I know how it can be at times, but you get that with all jobs but at the end of the day its money, its getting to know knew people and more importantly its about self respect and dignity and those two things alone should be enough to battle on and see it as a positive chance be that for future work there or to have some positive experience to put on your CV which will automatically give you a better chance if applying for similar type jobs.
