I think that's right if it hadn't touched Wild last. Ref seems to have ruled Peacock didn't play at it and it touched Wild's leg on the way through putting Diskin on-side in that case. If it doesn't hit Wild, then you're right. I'm not too sure of the state of off-side when a player doesn't play at the ball. Unlucky for Hudds, but looked correct call. Where have we seen those recently?

Accidental offside

Excuse my ignorance of the rules but is Diskin offside if he dosn't play at it?

It seems strange that in other cases where you dont play at the ball but it hits you the rules treat it as it it hadn't hit you, like when it goes over the touchline, but not for offside.

In response to the original post, the ref wasn't great tonight but Ive seen a lot, lot worse. It also hilarious that 2 threads are started about a fairly standard performance on the Leeds board by Saints fans. I dont think Ive seen much complaning from the Huddersfield fans.

stop bickering, Leeds won fair and square - we dropped too much ball.
The ref made some wrong calls but every ref in every game does - it didnt effect the result, Leeds were far better on the night - thats why their champions i guess !!
