| Quote Knaresborough Rhino II="Knaresborough Rhino II"Which also means he will break Andy Farrells superleague record of 2228 points.
I expect the only other person who is close to the record is Paul Deacon do you know how many he is on?'"
I don't have any figures for players not at Leeds unfortunately.
I'd be cautious if you're using the [url=http://www.superleague.co.uk/records.phpSL Website[/url for those Farrell figures. I have no means of checking their accuracy (they may well be) but on the subject of Kevin Sinfield he doesn't appear in the totals as often as he should.
For instance they don't have him anywhere in the top 14 points scorers for a SL Regular Season when in actual fact his 2004 and 2005 totals of 277 & 274 should place him 12th and 13th on the list.
Likewise his best goalkicking Regular Season return of 132 (including Drop Goals) should place him 7th on the list whereas he isn't even listed as Leeds' top marksman.
It's not just the player stats that don't always add up either. These [url=http://www.superleague.co.uk/article.php?id=10177attendance figures[/url leave a bit to be desired as well. Taking the aggregate and dividing by the number of games played to arrive at the average is just about as straightforward as it gets but that's something else that doesn't add up on Official SL site.
Should Carl Ablett start (as seems highly likely given the make-up of the squad available) he will finally make his Full Leeds Debut, almost 3 years and 9 months after making his debut.

| Leeds' Top 5 Try Scorers of the SL Era (All Comps)
1 - Francis Cummins - 136 (268 Appearances)
2 - Keith Senior - 135 (267 Appearances)
3 - Danny McGuire - 133 (167 Appearances)
4 - Rob Burrow - 107 (223 Appearances)
5 - Mark Calderwood - 106 (143 Appearances)
So this one should finally see a new leader shortly and probably another new name at the top by the season end.
Kevin Sinfield requires 4 goals for 800 (2 pointers) for Leeds.
A few minor individual milestones should the following play in Cardiff: All Comps unless stated
Luke Burgess - set to make his 10th Appearance
Jordan Tansey - his 40th Appearance
Brent Webb - his 40th Appearance and Start
Nick Scruton - his 50th SL Reg Round Appearance
Nick Scruton - his 60th Appearance
Jamie Peacock - his 70th Start
Scott Donald - his 80th Consecutive Appearance and Start
Matt Diskin - his 190th Appearance

| Just shows that Cummins' strike rate wasn't all that shabby, even though he was much maligned. His best years were with Brad Godden at centre but even so he did pretty well over a long period. In a way it's a pity he didn't stay on as a squad player as he could well have hit 200 tries for Leeds.

| Just to complete Cummins' Leeds try scoring record as obviously he is the only player in the top 5 that also pre-dated SL.
1993/4 to 1995/6 - 52 (87 Appearances)
His Leeds total therefore stands at 188 (355 Appearances)
A quick compilation of Leeds' all time top 10 Try List (cobbled together so subject to minor alteration)
Eric Harris - 391
John Atkinson - 340
Alan Smith - 283
Drew Turnbull - 228
Les Dyl - 193
Francis Cummins - 188
Stan Smith - 187
Syd Hynes - 158
Garry Schofield - 147
Lewis Jones - 144

I seem to remember something on the attendance being raised last year. IIRC they "guesstimated" the amount of people in the Millenium Stadium for each match and used that when calculating the average, despite only releasing one overall attendance figure for each day of the event. Amazingly, doing it that way allowed them to break the 10k average for the first time.

All a bit convenient, almost RU like accounting there.
I'm a bit of a simpleton. I took the published daily attendance figure reported and divided by three.
Interestingly after the first 12 rounds (72 games) this season the average SL attendance is 'genuinely' above 10,000.

Don't disagree with any of that, apart from the bit about you being a simpleton obviously
I know that a respected RL writer, who was the stats guru for the RFL also holds the same view on the attendances, but that's what they decided to go with. I can sort of understand why they did it, the number of people in the stadium did increase as the day went on, but it just doesn't sit right. If they're going to guess the figures, then why not just find out how many people had gone through the turnstiles by kick-off in each game?

| [url=http://www.superleague.co.uk/article.php?id=10177The average attendance at the end of the 27-round regular season was 10,264, with an aggregate attendance total of 1,682,800 supporters passing through the turnstiles.[/url
1,682,800 divided by 27 rounds (162 matches) gives an average of 10,387.
FWIW The (unadjusted) totals I had after 27 rounds were: 1,595,407 (Average 9,848)
Ah well, up the revolution.

| Back to Leeds:
Rob Burrow has been successful with his last 22 place kicks (for Leeds) in a sequence stretching back to 7th July 2006.
Likewise Kevin Sinfield with his last 10 shots stretching all the way back to 18th April 2008.

Very interesting stats for McGuire 133 in 167 is very good going... all you Danny cynics out there!
He could easily muscle his way above Mr G Schofield before the end of the season and well into the Leeds top ten of all time!
TVOC, what is the no. of apperances for Schoey?
