| Part of me thinks he deserves a shot at the prem if we go up, but part of me thinks we should change managers regardless of league next year. We should be top of the league with this squad and hes showing red flags that makes me think he could be sacked by xmas anyway.

Crazy that he wouldnt criticise Meslier for error after error but happy to call out Ramanzani
some players fall to bits if you criticise them, others need a kick up the backside. I remember JP saying if you hammered big les he'd go into his shell whereas rob burrow needed constant hammering to gee him up as he was so laid back. you have to think it's the manager k owing his players. let's be honest, he knows them better than any of us! and I hope ramazani scores the winner tomorrow to prove him wrong!

| And he is blaming Ramazani for Tanaka messing up at Sheffield. Farke then pointed to one incident against Swansea City where Ramazani lost the ball, which ultimately led to Ao Tanaka being yellow carded and thus being less forthright in the tackle against Joe Allen, who assisted the last-gasp equaliser.

Didn’t see Sheff U losing that one.. keeps us well in it. Have to win Tuesday though otherwise I think we are in real danger of missing out on top two which would be a huge failure by Farke given the squad he’s got. Interesting to hear him publicly criticise Ramazanni….. hopefully the lad kicks on and proves a point
What did he say ? Said he didn’t like his physicality in training and that he needs to step up. It’s in YEP Mmm, didn’t think that was Farke’s style to call players out. Thought he may have said something about Solomon’s petulance at Q.P.R if that was the case. I think Ramazani can see he’s struggled to get a fair go when everyone thought he might, and maybe he’s clocking off a bit mentally. I can understand it in a way, but it’s a dangerous game when everyone else appears to be pulling their weight even if they’re not playing too well. He may have cooked his goose for this season unfortunately.

Tenuous to say the least. Did Farke mention Tanaka’s appallingly weak tackles in the last 2 games that have led to goals ? Or did he mention Tanaka’s terrible control and back pass that led to the corner that resulted in the next corner from which Swansea scored their first goal against Swansea ?

I've backed Farke all season, i like him, he deserves all the backing he's had, we were in a mess at the start of last season big time and he sorted it out and i thought he dealt with the last off season very well, but, i do tend to agree here and i now have reservations on him should we get promoted.. however, if we romp to promotion in these next 6 he most definitely deserves a shot. If we some how ending up going up via Wembley, of course we'd be massively celebrating but i'd almost certainly get shut, he should have had top 2 with this squad comfortably. It's also on him why we didn't replace Meslier earlier... which if we had, we would have been 6 to 9 points clear imo and almost home and hosed by now...

Yeah Tanaka's form has dropped off hasn't it.. which is a worry given Rothwell is out for a week or two.. and it also looks like Ampadu will have to go to CB now Struijk is likley out for the rest of the season.... (what is it with him and the end of the season injuries)..

| To be honest I don`t think Struijk has been consistent enough this season and has either been out of position or has played silly balls putting the defence under pressure. I agree Ampadu will probably move in to the back 4 and hopefully Wober will get more minutes to enable Ampadu to move into midfield later in the game.

| Big downside to losing Strujik is a lack of threat on set pieces nobody comes close to his ability in the air in the team. Be interesting to see if Bamford plays Tuesday... i suspect we will see him from the bench.

I’d prefer to see him start and see how long we get out of him. If I remember rightly, we were struggling at this stage last season when Bamford was called up, coincidentally against Boro. We scored 4 goals and looked a different team. Bamford got injured again and that was that. Bamford at least tries running in behind teams, it stretches them and opens the game up. Piroe never runs in behind and always wants it to feet, so easy to defend against and it congests play. Would Farke be brave enough to start Bamford ? His track record would say no, but how desperate would he have to get before he changes tack ? I hope we get a slice of luck tonight or a few players perform better than of late, and then it’s a massive boost with a home game on Saturday.
