TBF did anyone else notice how professionally Bailey went about things Friday? He went in, did his job and didn't mess around at all. He had probably his best game of the season, especially his 1st stint.

I've been told that a local SL club offered him a contract but it couldn't match one offered from the NRL. If he goes about things like this for the rest of the season it'll be like having a new forward.

Oh this will be fun if it happens........

Bails must have had a good offer when you think he will be leaving on what could be his testimonial year.

I'd be quite upset if Ryan Bailey left, but I couldn't fault him for what he's done in his time at the club. I hope whatever he does next year works out well for him.

I also hope that what he does next year is stay at Leeds.

Well if he is staying next year he really needs to up his game

2. He's a player we miss when he's not on the field. He's had a good season this season and has for the last 2 years before that too.

So where is he off then?

The Bulls were interested but couldn't match an offer he received from the NRL, apparently.

If he's anything like off the pitch what he's like on it (and I've no idea nor have any desire to find out) that prospect would be reason enough for me to thank him for his efforts and wish him bon voyage.

I appreciate most of what he's done and still does on the pitch but I don't think he portrays himself, his club or the sport in an entirely positive light. Said much the same about James Graham and James Lowes on occasions.

I remember the days when players were fined for not having their shirt tucked in their shorts but they gave as good as they got, played the game for love and were almost to a man true sportsmen.

Not a great year by bailey so far IMO. There has been glimpses but generally not been as good this as last. Thought he had a good year last year. The sort of player you don't really miss till they are not actually there anymore. Good luck to him in aus can't fault anyone wanting to leave here to live in Aus, and he can continue his winding up of the ginger ninja.
