| Sal Paradise:
Professional pride is an interesting concept - seems to me what is missing is the desire to grind games out even when they are not playing well. How many times have you said Sheffield Utd are a poor side yet without a points deduction they would be leading the table. You are correct on paper not as good a side as Leeds yet they keep winning!! Burnley are a good side as good as Leeds much better defensively not as good up front. Interesting run in.
Bonus if you are making £1m+ a year what kind of bonus is going to actually make any kind of financial difference to these players?
Aaronson - what has he actually created since Christmas other than a chance for the QPR player? Lacks basic skills and seems incapable of winning a challenge.
they ground out a draw at qpr and preston.they battled to stay in the game at bramhall lane. that's without thinking of others. players want glory. they want to win things. and no matter what yiu earn you always want more. as has been said, a proper keeper we are virtually up. farke, like bielsa and revie has a stubborn streak though. only Wilkinson was ruthless. for, probably, the first time this year farke got it all wrong on Saturday. I expect a reaction at luton. plenty of twists yet

| Simply have to win at Luton on Saturday, and if we want to get auto promotion its a game we bl**dy should be winning. Fully expect a reaction from the players. We have to get control of the narrative. I expect Gnonto to start at 10, Tanaka and Ampadu in midfield (though i would actually go with Gruev unless Amps has a red hot week in training as he looked a way off being able to start).

| 100% mate and would probably start with Gruev Tanaka with Ampadu coming on last 20 or so. Fear for Meslier and our centre halves against Luton as they have some size and look good at set pieces. Go at them from the start and let`s hope we don`t score in the first 5 minutes!!

| Darlow for me too but he`s average at best imo. Said before Cairns is the best of the 3. With your goalkeepers hat on Tad do you think Meslier has lost his confidence and should be dropped? Interesting what big Sam said when he dropped him. Said Meslier wasn`t happy and was angry and sulked for a few days.

| meslier is better than darlow but darlow is steadier. less errors. that's my view. stick or twist??? I think it's how the other players, especially the back 4 feel. have they lost confidence in him? rodon and ampedu play with darlow at Wales remember. honestly, I've no idea which way farke will go.

| That's a good point Tad as I do feel the back 4 have lost it with Meslier and Rodon/Ampadu would prefer Darlow. Farke can`t win. He sticks with Meslier who has another howler and fans will be onto him for not dropping him. He goes with Darlow who messes up and fans will say he should have stuck with Meslier. Oh to be a manager. That`s what he gets paid for I guess.

| Darlow for me, he's been very solid for Wales. He's just played well in 2 internationals alongside James and Rodon and he of course has played alongside Ampadu many times for Wales now so he's not rusty. I actually think the lads will respond really well to Darlow too.
Watched a really interesting video on the Leeds squad under Farke last 2 years and it's looking like it's following the same pattern with a lack of rotation leading to burnout as it did last season...... and that's where Farke gets a lot of criticism.. I for one have backed him fully but his neck is on the line here... fingers crossed he's got it right. Does he have time to rotate at this stage??.... Ramazanni looks very rusty for example and he's a player who always needs lots of minutes to get the best out of him.. but can he take what would be a gamble or does playing the same squad lead to failure.... very very tough situation now and it's why we could have done with a nice points gap..
