Weather Furner is a better than Agar none of us really know that unless we are privy to coaching sessions. Also we'll never know if Furner would had have kept us up.

What are we basing Furner is a better coach than Agar on?

Furner has been sacked from both his first team head coaching jobs, not a great record that is it.

Any way if we lose against Giants wether its premature or not we'll be back on the relegation subject again

reminds me of leeds united pre Wilkinson. needed someone from the outside who was strong enough to come in and shake things up and upset people.

Look at the level Furner was coaching at - significantly different to Agar - neither had great records but to suggest Agar delivered something Furner couldn't doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

No and Furner didn't have the squad strengthening that Agar had i.e. Ava, Martin, Lui either so as I said it is very likely given all known facts that Furner could have delivered what Agar did.

Who signed the players pre season 2018-19? Furner or Sinfield? Agar was a yes man under Kath Hetherington at Hull and that was a disaster ( didn’t help that Kath made the signings,not the head coach).As for Rob Lui,I thought he looked way overweight? 10 mins in and he was totally shattered,so perhaps Agar should be looking at that?

Shake things up? How many players have left in the last 18 months?

Agar did deliver something Furner didn’t, team spirit.

Of course he did!! He was backed by the management the players had their wings clipped - no way they were going to remove Agar.

The club should have never put him in that position it can only be looked as jobs for the boys given his lack of experience unless coaching Stanningley counts

A job he is nowhere qualified for under a Coach witha ptoven record of failure & countless sackings.
The squad still lacks quality & depth a good Coaching set could & would offset some of those issues but we dont have it.

Just out of interest whst are your ecpectstions on this Coaching set up & at what point/games would you question the set up?
Beaeing in mind as it stands
Agar -Failed everywhere he's been
Jjb- Not qualified nor any experience at any level as a FT Assist Coach.
Walker- No Coaching CV of note other than a couple of years Coaching Acadamy.
Webster -Numerous Assist jobs & Coached London but like the Head Coach no success at all.
Given the above How Long? Should anyone wait before questioning that?
