Funny how the mole usually the first to know these things but this time is one of the last.

It wouldn't surprise me if we went hard for O'Neill and turned to Hurrell when that fell through. Could explain some of the delay, as is the requirement for Hurrell to get a release from the Titans.

I really hope not, a waste of an overseas place IMO, yes he went OK at Catalan but we have signed 2 halves for next season and would only want another if it was of a very high quality, Myler will be much better with a better team around him.

Don’t think Leeds will have room but would make a very good foil for Austin and kick goals, direct wire around the park. Helped get Catalan a trophy could do the same for wire.

The big risk with both the Tui and Hurrell signings are keeping them both in good shape - both have a history of not looking after their diet, fitness, weight and looking at Tui in the warm up for this Tonga/Aus game, he's looking a tad more chunky than usual - not being in the Wests team at back end of season and a few weeks off looks to have taken it's toll. But he is a super talent, be interesting to see how he plays against Aus.

That's why the existing relationship with Furner is key going forward - he must be content he can keep them fit and motivated, otherwise we'd surely have looked elsewhere.
