| Quote: G1 "Ablett was great and was unplayable in the 1st half especially.
Burrow was man of the match by a mile. Davies gave MOM to Hall then admitted it was only because of the 4 tries but that Burrow was clear MOM.'"

| Ablett, Burrow, Buderus. My top 3 yesterday in that order. Burrow was outstanding, but just drops top spot to Ablett because a) He got binned (comical or not) and b) Ablett really turned it on when the game was still in the balance (not saying Burrow didn't by the way).

| I thought Sinfield again was the glue who held us together & how important is his goalkicking form the touchline. Something I feel we tend to take for granted.
Because we score so many tries wide out through our wingers his completion rate based on degree of difficulty is second to none.
Not necessarily MoM but crucial to our continuing success in so many ways.
He may not(allegedly) be international class but boy how blessed have we been to have him for so many years.

I am more that happy to be proved wrong.
i'd be happy if you turned up on time so i didn't have to stand up to let you to your seat!

| Towards the end of last season and showing it now he is beginning to look like a real contender for the national team. He does seem to have some genuine pace has pretty good hands as-well. I hope he is not overlooked just because he is dismissed as rubbish by other fans.

| Ablett's a class act. For me, he's one of the 'core' that the next generation of Rhinos teams has to be built around including Watkins, Burgess, Hall & Jones-Bishop.

Lee smith, Paul mcshane, jay pitts, luke ambler, Brett delaney, greg Beastwood?
You already mentioned ablett, burgess, watkins, hall and bjb.
there's 11 for the future if Brett and Greg stick around as long as our other overseas lads do. Clarke, bush, manning look like they could kick on and amor/coady too who I still have high hopes for. so there's 16? numpty fans at other clubs will tell you that Leeds are a team in decline. I think quite the opposite!

Not as funny as Longy referring to Hull as Saints

Agreed. Ablett has won me round. Not sure about Kirke. He has all the physical atributes to be the natural successor to JP, but most of the time Rob Burrow hits the defensive line harder than he does. I wish he could generate some controlled agression into his play. He could be awsome.

| What Ablett also adds to the 17 is his versatility - he can play second-row, loose forward (should Sinfield be required to move into the halves), stand off and centre. He's an example of the modern day multi-skilled rugby league forward just as comfortable in a creative role as he is in a head-down, backside up drive it in one.
