Kurt lived fast died young - iconic influential album, but we'll never know if he could have maintained it,
Jackson has done it since he was a kid. Jackson 5 stuff through to BAD is legendary stuff, what happened off the field he will be attempting to account for now |

Tis funny though, I bought his Greatest Hits album, and apart froma couple of Jackson 5 classics, Beat it, Billy Jean and Thriller, the rest was largely very forgettable. Even at the time Bad stank the house out.

In musical terms, he really does fit the "legendary" billing, however it's difficult to separate that from the personal "baggage" he carried round with him.
Sad to see him go at such a young age though. RIP.

Still glad I went to both though, they were events.

I agree with this, especially in this case. Lets face it he hasnt been making any music of any note for a long time, nobody (apart from those who actually know him!) will notice any difference if he is alive or dead TBH. |

Whether you loved him or hated him, he was still an icon and will be missed by millions.
In terms of his music, he entertained a generation, and his personal life was lived out in the tabloids. He obviously had great problems, but his music will remain popular for a long time.
He was also a dad, so sincere condolences to his family, his kids and his true fans.
RIP
