As Joihn DH has said, Thacks form has dropped off the last few weeks. Maybe, just maybe, Smith knows his players better than the knee jerkers on here. Maybe Smith realises that Thacks need tough love and this may just spur him back to some decent form in time for trhe playoffs?

Everyone knows that spending 5 days a week watching them in training and spending most evenings reviewing footage of their performances with your other coaching staff is a poor substitute for watching the game once, live and maybe, some weeks, a re-run on Sky.
