Stevie Ward is out for 3 months. I'd love to see Merrin playing loose forward but to do that we desperately need another prop in so he isn't having to be wasted playing prop himself

Maybe we will land the unpronounceable Samoan prop from Cronulla... if not, given we can’t afford the other NRL players on the market by the sounds of it, me might be making do this year. We look a much better side with Merrin at loose.
