I'd much rather win 20 nil than 50 - 30, but I we don't have a "nilling" in this team at the moment, unless it's someone doing it to us of course.

Get used to it. Until Kylie, JP and Mags come back we're going to be the whipping boys. Happy viewing vs Saints and Wigan thats for sure. 3 of the 4 first choice props are injured what can seriously be expected. You take Morley, Carvell and Wood out of the Wire side along with a couple of first choice back rowers + Briers and hey the result would of turned on its head.

Harsh on your lot, but then I suppose it is an easy excuse to make for a Leeds supporter who isn't used to losing. You have more than enough quality in your side to be serious challengers for the top berth in the league, but you are coached by a clown. We (Quins) have a worse side than last season, yet looking to be faring a lot better, even at this early stage. Player by player, we are well down on your squad, yet we still turned you over. Big problems at Leeds, IMO.

When we have a full squad yes. But come on, without 3 first choice props its hard to win the forward battle. Kylie had been outstanding and was the saving grace prior to injury.
You lose the forward battle then your odds on to lose the game right? Well line up our pack to the Salford, Saints, Wakey and Wigan - how many forward battles will we win?
To combat that we need to be playing error free rugby. Churn out the sets and capitalise on the opposition errors. Unfortunately Brian Macs style isn't allowing the squad to do this.

We have Danny Ward as one of our starting props. Even your reserve props outshine him.

Hes playing in totally the wrong position for me. He does his best work at 13. Surely our coach can see see this. Id move Webb to 6 and Jones- Bishop to FB. Try it for the Salford game to see how it works

Playing the pack leader out of the pack and letting Peacock's long potential term successor move to Harlequins while holding onto Kirke seems less than inspired.

Is there nobody in the academy who could have been given his opportunity to step up to the no. 6 position if Webb is apparently not considered good enough in that position ? ? If not why not ?

I have always looked forward to the games against Leeds. Last years cup final though I thought you were very disappointing but thought "ah well, we all have our off days". Yesterday afternoon I watch your U20 completely outplay the Wolves U20 and thought, this is more like the Leeds that were 3 times champions, should be a good game tonight.

But then....oh dear oh dear. For some reason there seemed to be a lack of commitment and ideas from your players. To go 8-0 up early in the battle should have given them a huge boost (especially against a Wolves side also suffering with injuries, the loss of Morley in the pack and stuffed full of youngsters) but they seemed to switch off.

I obviously don't see Leeds each week but from what I have seen this season, it may be a while before they are once again the feared force they once were.

You are wrong being coached by a clown would be bad enough but at Leeds we have a double act of McD and Lowes its like having the Chuckle Brothers in charge. Totally clueless.

He's right though isn't he? Take the three best props and half back out of any team and ask them to go to a title challenger and I expect a similar result. Especially as our defeat was caused by being too expansive but as we couldn't take them on we have to try and go around them.

Not that I disagree with your assessment of our coach btw. What's interesting is many posters on here hated Tony Smith and gave way too much of the credit for our early successes under him to his "genius" assistant, Mr McDermott.
