| Some match reports have Keith scoring a goal kick with Sinny getting 7, but others have Sinfield with all 8 kicks. What happened?

Serious quesions here. Have we looked anything like any good with using both Buderus and Diskin in the same squad?
Did we not play our best Rugby of the season without Diskin in the squad?
Did we not win two championships without the two hookers scenario?
Was not the last time we looked so poor around the ruck area, when we went with a Diskin/Millard combination. Coincidentally the two hookers.'"

Sinfield kicked eight from eight. Burrow missed one from one.
The YEP online had Senior kicking the goal after the Webb try.
[iOn 48 minutes, Webb went on a run and fed Lauitiiti, who slipped out a wonderful offload round the man to Keith Senior. He made ground then turned the ball to the supporting Webb to complete a classic try, converted by Senior.[/i
Very strange.

Has Ray French been writing for the YEP again?
7 goals kicked by Keith Sinfield and 1 by Kevin Senior

Not a patch on his confusion over Anthony and Andy Farrell.
Anyone who can get those two muddled up needs to retire to the nursing home.

I'm a big fan of Diskin and was not keen on giving the No9 shirt to Buderus
but seeing how the season has progressed Buderus is in a different league and can play 80mins no problem, it pains me to say it but having Diskin on the bench is wasting a space that could be taken by someone who we could use to change a game plan if things went wrong, as you say he's not a Roby and would only be good as cover for an injury to Buderus.

I agree with every word and unfortunately I'm sure the Leeds management knew what they were getting when they made the signing last March making all the two hooker rotation within the game talk disingenuous (if that's the right word.)

He's back again tonight. Rob Burrow is now in a battle for the England number 7 shirt with someone called rlRob Mylerrl.

I think in our current squad Diskin as a utility forward can be included on the bench. However, with 2 more spaces that many believe we have on the cap, he would struggle to get gametime, and if we go with 2 hookers, young mcshane could get an appearace or two

Utility forward? His he really a better back row option than some of our other fringe players? Like Allan for example?

I don't know. But he offers little different in style to Buderus, and certainly not in ability, but he does have good defense and almost 10 years of SL experience. I would say he would get into the 17 on that above Allan or Worral

Neither of which would probably feature in a fully fit Leeds seventeen this season. 1 to 13 squad number then 16, 17, 18 , 19 making the seventeen.
Leaving Diskin as 18th man and cover for Buderus?

I would agree. I guess it depends on what the game plan is, but with Buderus offering an 80 minute contribution, the wiseness of 2 hookers of very similar styles seems daft in the 17. But who knows what teh management team are thinking. I'd prefer someone like a halfback to come on and spice thing up. If Diskin dopesn't fit into the first 17, then its a fair wedge of cap being used on him, which could go to somone with more impact. All this depends on how long we will have Buderus for, and how McShane develops. I think it is very risky to go with a squad with only 1 hooker

I think Leeds will keep Diskin in the 17 to placate him whether that is the correct selection for the team's needs or not. This season with an injury or two he's worth the place most weeks anyway as long as Buderus is left to control the ruck.
Isn't one of the three Leeds hookers alleged to be gone for the season after shoulder surgery anyway if you believe what you read on here.
