Interesting to read us linked to Tom Johnstone again on Loverugbyleague… I do have sympathy with clubs like Wakefield trying to hold on to their talent when glamour clubs come sniffing, but at the same time he would be an excellent fit for us.
It's good that the club is still looking for prop and wing. Exciting times round the corner, another year on McClelland, Smith, Oledzski, Holroyd etc. plus a couple of real quality new signings, I reckon we're about right again after a couple of years in the wilderness.
To be fair the new stadium is shaping up brilliantly, we are looking like a club with positive momentum again. We seem to have made progress with youth development over the last few years too, despite the challenges.

I say this will all humility mate. Leeds is just about the best resourced RL club in England - if it wasn't, all the other clubs around wouldn't love beating us so much!

Leeds, as a business and a sports team is, was, are, am, were, will be, will always be, the blueprint for success in RL in both hemispheres. And no one will tell me any different

Garbutt is better than Fafita, so wouldn't be an upgrade, but he'd definitely improve the current squad. I'd rather sign his brother though.

Watching the game tonight, they would definately improve the current Leeds squad....

But they are the standout players in the Wakey team so cannot see them letting them go without a fight - a fight i dont see leeds paying to win....

I have huge admiration for Leeds as a club. I love the ground, I like the area, I love going there on a Friday night after work. It is a blueprint.
