I get what you're saying, but I still don't think he's the answer. Better waiting for a centre back in January.

I mean, in some of those CL games we had jacob f*cking burns playing..... jacob burns
Wouldn't say we overacheived, we had one of the best squads in the country. I'd say we underacheived as we should have kept qualifying for the champions league with the amount of money we spent. That bunch of players were all young and worked great as a team. Now they've all moved on to different clubs but the majority of them are still playing in the premiership 8 years later.
Agreed Jacob Burns was poor though!
Just think if we'd have had a better left back that we would have won a couple of things and at least qualified for the champions league a couple more times

| Harte was decent in the air IMO. Could have filled in at centre half.

Just heard from a guy at the Gym that we have just signed a Centre Half, a Brazilian named, Poly Filla, he will be able to fill in at the back in the short-term.

We came within a whisker of getting back into the CL the next season but liverpool just pipped us.
If we hadn't had a good goal ruled out for a mystery offside against the scum we'd have got in that season.
But i think that team overachieved qualifying for the champs league.
It was top 3 back then.
scum and nal had better teams
liverpool and chelsea were on a par

I can't remember him ever actually completing a pass, the poor sod.
Literally everytime he passed the ball, we lost posession.

He was only good for free kicks and the occasional long range special.

Yeah thats always done my head in how we finished top 4 like 4 years running and then as soon as it went tits up for us it became top 4.
Thought we overachieved in the season we finished top 3 but we really did become a better team when we brought in players like Viduka and Ferdinand but we never seemed to really improve and thought we underachieved. When we got beat 4-0 at the nou camp in the first game I didn't think we had a chance of qualifying.
If only Leicester would have let Martin O' Neill leave, he wouldn't have been greedy buying players like O' Leary was and we would have been a quality team

| Roy Keane would never come to Leeds, but he'd get us into the premiership.
I like McAllister and i'm disappointed he's not doing so well. I'm happy to judge him at the end of the season though and that means if we havent gone up he has to go.
Judging by his interview last week he's frustrated with his defence. I think he knows they've had their chance.
