| Quote batleyrhino="batleyrhino"The Parcell case depends on the development of Corey Johnson. If we think we can get Johnson ready for bench duty this season then we could go next year with Dwyer and Johnson, if not then Parcell (or replacement) needs to come in. Unless Parcell has already told the club he's going home at the end of the year, I see little reason to replace him with King.'"
I might be in a minority here, but I really can't see the club going with Dwyer as main hooker. I just don't think he has it in him. He looks great as an impact and for 25 minutes a match. But he really doesn not have the stamina or thinking game to manage a team through long minutes. I can still see Johnson as the back up, but think if Parcel goes, there will be a new front line hooker.

| parcell had a stormer yesterday circa 2017 vintage. its all about the quick play the ball for him like Clarke like younger Roby, when he is on form and got good go forward he is easily one of the top 3-4 hookers in super league.

| Not Leeds related but Toronto rumoured to be sign SBW. Not that we’d pay the £££, but would you have him at Leeds if we could?

| Quote batleyrhino="batleyrhino"I don’t think we do have an OQ place free, we have 4 available and they are taken by Cuthbertson, Lolohea, Merrin and Parcell. We do however have an NFT space, meaning we could go for an Islander but not an OS player.
Without wishing to get all political, I wonder what will happen to the Kolpak agreement and those who get exemption as a result of Brexit.'"
It’s 5 available I believe for OQ and 7 for NFT.

| Sam Kasiano, Cheyse Blair and Patrick Kaufusi available for transfer from Melbourne Storm as they bid to cut the cap.

| I would like to hope that we are in for Kasiano or Kaufusi, deffo would prefer Kasiano, he used to be a better version of Murdoch-Masila and now he’s fitter aswell, could be a devastating runner. We need a big prop.

I would be happy with either as both are big and still young too. Feel that Kaufusi could be more an opion at the moment with him having two other international Tongan players.

Kasiano won't get the money he'd want from another NRL club, Melbourne would still have to pay a large chunk, which would defeat the objective of getting rid to cut cap costs.
As for Kaufusi, it's not the good one that is up for grabs. Felise Kaufusi is the Queensland back rower, Patrick ain't much chop.
Kasiano is past his best, but would still be a good signing. He is in better shape than ever now, but that doesn't mean he's a better player for it. He's a bit like Greg Eastwood in that he actually plays better fat. Take away his size and weight and you lose a big part of what makes him so hard to handle - but big and fat doesn't work in the Melbourne system, but would work just fine over here.
Get him here and let Tui introduce him to 'I am Doner'!

Agree that Kasiano would probably go well over here, and he's the right overall type of player Leeds needs.
However we already have a clutch of players which struggle for conditioning, and it's really important IMO that the club generates a very strong training culture. It would be easy to create (another) culture where talented overseas players come across, take the a bit and rock up to play once a week. I don't think that's what we need longer term - one or two too many doner addicts and you start to have a problem, potentially.
Maybe I'm still scarred by seeing Richie Blackmore chain smoking in his Sin Bin bar after games on a weekend! Handy player still mind.

| Kaufusi would be an interesting one, won Queensland cup second rower of the year last season after starting the season at prop, wouldnt be the biggest of props if we were interested, but a pretty dynamic ball carrier.
