I'm not going to make it like I didn't want him, I was all for signing him. But the Hull fans are reacting like this buy is a guaranteed tickets to all finals in the near future. They have a long way to go before they can start putting their hands on trophies and making one good signing won't automatically make them challengers, however it starts them off on the right road.

You could have posted earlier, i've already booked hotels and tickets for wembley and old trafford.

We did OK when Harris and Morley didn't come back. I reckon we'll do OK again, especially wit the likes of Ablett and JJB in the back row.

I wanted him back, of course I did, but I said when the idea first arose I wouldn't be breaking the bank (or our salary cap structure) to sign him. He will be 31 when he arrives back and has always been an all action player. He will go down a treat with the Hull fans providing he can stay fit, you cannot dfail to like a player that puts his body on the line so often as Gareth Ellis. They really need to sort their structure out though IMO, haven't seen much of them this season but if Richard Horne is still involved in organising their play then they will be a step behind the top 3 or 4 already.

Well done to Gareth for getting the best deal for himself as well. He certainly deserves it.
