Yes, it was a real blow last season when he got injured at Wigan. We didnt win another game all season.

I'm talking about this season, dummy. Last season is history.
Surely you're not doubting the ever increasing quality Buderus has brought to the team [ithis[/i season (in contrast to the ever diminishing returns [ithis[/i season from your 'hero', Diskin) ?

| Of course we're going to miss Buderus, he has been playing well from the games I've seen this season. More so becaus of Diskin's injury. If Diskin had got injured later on last season we would have badly missed him as well.
With both Buderus and Diskin re-signing for next season, I would suggest that they see the benefit of having two hookers. In that I assume the club has a plan for McShane. He should have the opportunity now to show what he's capable of.

Do we REALLY have to go down the "Buderus v Diskin" path again? Has this not been done to death over and over again?! Era of the Biff actually made a very valid point, but don't let that get in the way of your inane ranting! When Buderus got injured at Wigan last year, many people (and I'll admit, myself included) feared the worst for our prospects. However, all that happened was that Diskin stepped up to the plate bigstyle, and a couple of months later we had both available trophies in the bag. I'm not saying that the same will happen this season, especially seeing as Diskin is also injured, but the experience of last year has taught me never to doubt Leeds' strength in depth - perhaps rather than labelling people who make valid points as a "dummy" you maybe ought to have a similar amount of faith?!
Oh, and whilst I'm at it, is it really necessary to have such a pop at Diskin? He has never let the side down, is Leeds through and through, and would run his blood to water for the club! He may not have been quite on Buderus' level this season, but he's still been pretty damn good in my opinion, and I'd hate to have him lining up against us!

Thankyou
It's very easy for me to draw people out to slag Diskin off. I only have to mention Buderus and you cannot hear anything for the gnashing of teeth.
It's a real shame that Buderus (who has been and still is a fantastic player) draws so much venom from our so called supporters towards Diskin.

classic perp classic!
I think we are blessed at Leeds that we have a world class hooker, a domestic top class hooker and one of the best young hookers in the game, plus sini who is keeping any english hooker from getting the England/gb 9 shirt!
we have our main 2 hookers injured and we may start against kr with the England hooker! god we are lucky to have such quality at the rhinos!
I fooking love Leeds I do!

Unfortunately there's a 'history' here. The invective was directed towards the author of the post because of his previous rush to abuse and denigrate said Buderus at any given opportunity. There was a definite reluctance from him to accept that he might be a better player than his 'champion' Diskin.
Doesn't mean I am having a 'pop' at the player.
I was actually very pleased that Leeds had managed to resign both players (see earlier post somewhere else). I agree with you...this has been done to death.

Well said. Far too often the debate about Buderus has resorted towards diminishing Diskin's abilities which is simply unfair. I have always tried to focus my arguments in discussions like this on what player A can do rather than what player B can't do. I admit I don't awlays succeed though

Totally. A comment from me saying The 'priviliged to play for Leeds Danny Buderus' was an unnecessary signing (not saying he's a crap player) usually provokes a "Diskin is [is[/ihi[it[/i" comment from the likes of NantwichExile, RichieRamrod (or his lol brother lol).

Believe me, I note who gives measured responses to my comments about the 'priviliged to play for Leeds Danny Buderus' and who doesn't. Usual suspects frothfacing every time.

The term selective memory springs to mind.
You are of course a paragon of virtue for "measured responses"
I have never called Diskin ""
