| Gareth - you chose to deride me on our forum. You are throwing insults around at and deriding some other Bulls fans on here and on our forum. I doubt you will care one jot, but I find it pretty disappointing and surprising that you have chosen to employ the same sort of tactics as some of the fekkwits that you profess to despise. I always thought better of you than that.

Did I? Where and when?
Quote: Adeybull "You are throwing insults around at and deriding some other Bulls fans on here '" Only the hypocrite who suggests Leeds fans shouldn't post on RA&B whilst he's filling his boots on here. I find that irksome and that poster deserving of my bile. Quote: Adeybull "and on our forum'" Again, which other posters on your forum have I insulted?
Quote: Adeybull ".I doubt you will care one jot, but I find it pretty disappointing and surprising that you have chosen to employ the same sort of tactics as some of the fekkwits that you profess to despise.'" I haven't done that at all. It seems different opinions aren't welcome on RA&B. When I expressed them I received abuse from your resident bully. He didn't like it when I stood up to him and pulled down his pants but I make no apologies for that. Quote: Adeybull "I always thought better of you than that.'" I'm genuinely sorry you think that way but, in summary, all I did was offer an opinion that differed with yours. When along came FA, muscles flexed. All I did was respond in a like manner. I didn't cry about his modus operandi yet he cried about me adopting the same tone as him. He's a big boy though. He can always find solace in his daughter's view of his posts.
What is a little dis-tasteful on RA&B is the treatment Mystic Eddie receives for daring to post a different, albiet negative veiwpoint and is demonstrative of the way things seem to be over there.
In summary, the thread you refer to consisted of Bulls fans blaiming the loss on their absetntees and the referees. I posted that the loss was down to other issues. Bullseye posted something similar. I was then attacked for the tone of my posts and told, amongst other things, that your forum was for discussing the Bulls only, that I was telling people what they could and couldn't discuss and, finally, that Leeds posters shouldn't post on there.
That crap won't wash with me I am afraid.

| "Adey, did you really just write that gibberish?
'I am surprised. It's gibberish.
'It's worth nothing as it's nothing more than ill informed bias...
'With respect to Sadler and you, that is garbage"
etc. There are subsequent examples.
More significantly, the tone of your responses was little different to the tone FA subsequently took with you. IMO. You say he is a bully - and that's as maybe - but the way you replied to me looks to me almost indistinguishable, other than you did not resort to expletives.
Gareth, I posted extracts of what Sadler wrote in his paper. I don't usually agree with him, but on this occasion I did since what he said seemed to me to be irrefutable. And I posted what people were saying at half time when queuing up for a pee. Most of what I posted was reporting what others had said, yet you chose to deride it. The whole thrust of what Sadler was saying was that you have more money to spend on your squad than we do ours, and that (for the reasons he explained) ultimately made the difference. That must surely be plain for everyone to see - you have the strength in depth, the cover, and (crucially) the quality out wide that we (with one of the lowest player budgets in the game) cannot have. No-one - not Sadler, not me - was making excuses. I had already made it clear which team deserved the win, and why. The point being made was how the limitations of Bulls' thin, cheaper squad were very effectively exposed by a team able to spend enough to largely avoid such limitations.
And the only reason I posted that at all was because various Leeds posters were arguing that "our absentees were worse than yours" - an argument that was getting out of hand. As I said in the posting, I was merely trying to bring some balance by showing how a third party felt that Bulls were hit harder by who we were missing, given we have a smaller and weaker squad that you and we had our two best players (See "Albert Goldthorpe" table in LE) and main playmakers missing. Not excuses, just how it was. You in turn said that Webb and Burrow are your two main playmakers, which will surely have surprised even your own fans given the presence of Sinfield and McGuire (both absolutely outstanding on Sunday - McGuire #7 for England? - as was the oft-derided - on here - Eastwood) on the park.
Even Sam - who we both know to be one of the most reasonable and level-headed posters on here, and most definitely not a Fellow of the PT - said in response to you: "I'd say given the comparitive quality in both squads that Leeds were able to cope with their absentees far more easily than us. They have far more depth and quality and it showed."
I cannot see how I deserved the response I got from you. As I said on our board, it was not your opinion I was taking issue with, it was your tone and derision. Yet you persist in saying I take issue with your opinion...
I also posted - and this prompted your "gibberish" comments - that the officials were bad for both sides (the McGuire no-try looked the wrong call IMO, as I said) but they were more bad for Bulls in the first half and more for you in the second. That SEEMS to be the opinion of the commentators, too. I argued that this probably messed with our players' heads - we have seen this seem to happen a number of times this season, and I've seen Bulls a few more times than you probably have. I'm sorry you considered my opinions on this to be "gibberish". All you had to say was that you did not agree, rather than deride me. As I said, I did not deserve your attack.
As for ME...do you follow RAB regularly? I'll repeat again something I posted, in response to the very reasonable Exeter Rhino:
"Few would take issue with his negative posts, if he balanced them with anything positive when the team won or they (or the club) otherwise did well. The way people like the respected Bullseye and Tigertot (who is of course a Cas supporter) do. Indeed, the way arch-sceptics like Bulls4champs2010 do. And people would take less issue if he at least acknowledged the financial realities of the situation.
But, apart from a short spell a few weeks ago, for the last two years he has done nothing but criticise and virtually never ever praise. And seem to dismiss and close his mind to underlying causes which are outside of the coach's immediate control. That is what sets him apart from pretty well every other poster on here.
If "following a club through thick and thin" means forever catching the club and team doing things wrong, and rarely if ever catching them doing things right, going to ground when we win but flying onto here when we lose to bayonet the wounded, then I've clearly been totally misunderstanding all these years what being a supporter meant."
ME does not receive "the treatment" for expressing his opinion. He receives it for the reason I explained above. I just wish a few more of the people who have told me in pm things like:
"Well said Adey
I've been dying to make that exact comment all day re ME's 'contribution' but have been biting my tongue as he always just resorts to petty name calling when his tactic is pointed out to him.
He very rarely comments following our good results, usually refraining from making any comment unless its a snide comment about whatever individual players mistake he chooses to highlight that week.
Yet whenever we lose a game he's practically the first poster on after the game slagging the club and macca off, and it usually comes across as gloating, and then proceeds to try and take over/derail every thread for a day or two after the match.
Really does my head in but I just try to ignore him these days as he's turned into little more than a troll the last six months."
- would say the same on the board. And no, that was not FA, but a respected and responsible poster.
You backing ME will no doubt have made his day.
Anyway, I think you have been unfair to Ewwen, who is harmless enough if a bit too easily wound up by fekkwits, on both boards. And your statement "ME is right, this forum is full of bullies and people telling people what they can and can't post. I think I am needed here a while longer to keep some of these bullies in check." is an insult to most of us who post on RAB.

Is there really any need to cut and paste all that sanctimonious twaddle from your Bullsite? Regurgitating it on here adds nothing to your case, and simply demonstrates an inability to accept robust criticism of your arguments.
No one doubts for an instant your loyalty and support, and generally intelligent understanding of the Bulls fiscal position, but throwing a major hissy fit simply offers opportunities that are too good to resist.
Mystic Eddie may well be a pain,(we have our own mystic Danny) but I reckon he was spot on with his summary of Sunday's game.
At the end of the day, over the course of 80 mins in a particular game, we scored more points.
No more, no less.

| Adey,
I won't go through your entire post (don't have time today). but i want to qualify what I said that appears to have offended you.
You posted this sentence. Quote: cos it messed with players heads "The only real debate, if such there is, is whether he was more bad for us first half - and whether that did more damage to us cos it messed with players' heads - and more bad for Leeds second half.'"
IMO that's gibberish. I am sorry, but it is. I don't mean to offend you but re-read the sentence. "cos it messed with players heads" Later in that thread I qualified my comment by explaining you usually set higher standards than that. That's not me deriding or insulting you. I think you're being over sensitive. I still maintain that is gibberish.
Quote: cos it messed with players heads "'It's worth nothing as it's nothing more than ill informed bias'" This was in response to you posting the views of the people stood around you at the game. Again, I am not insulting or deriding you at all. As I pointed out on the thread most people who attend Rugby matches are ill informed and home supporters are virtually always biased. I even said this was the case at Headingley and most grounds I have visited.
Quote: cos it messed with players heads "'With respect to Sadler and you, that is garbage"'" I genuinely think it's garbage. I said so with respect. OK, I could have flowered my language a little but it is still hardly an insult or derision.
Insults followed a plenty when ferocious Arsefart waded in to your defence but they came from him to me and I can handle them.
I won't get into the rest. You have clearly been dealing with ME longer than I but i just got a flavour that the guy was being brow beat for having a different, albiet negative, opinion.

I say much worse than "you're talking gibberish luv" to the wife and she hasn't divorced me yet.
I hope we can get through this sticky patch. Me and Adey I mean, not me me and the wife. The wife deals with sticky patches with Fairy liquid and ferbreeze.

Midget porn, absence and simmering resentment. It doesn't make it onto many Hallmark cards but it's the staple of wedded bliss.
