| Quote: Andy Gilder "Lilley and Golding are both still Under 19s eligible, as they were both still 18 at 31st August (by less than a week).
I'd hope if Handley and Baldwinson go out anywhere, it will be dual reg in the Championship. Both are way to good for League 1.'"
There were persistent rumours a few weeks ago that Featherstone would be getting some more of the younger Rhinos in a similar manner to last season, but those have gone quiet lately & I guess the difference this year is that the likeliest candidates have actually managed to make the Leeds 25-man squad, whereas last year Leeds had a number of overage (for the U19s) players who didn't make the 25.

| Our duel registration is still with Hunslet so can only go there on that. Could go to Championship clubs on loan but I believe that if you loan a player to a championship team you cannot call them back due to weakening teams for the super eights.

Hmm. If the likes of Handley and Baldwinson aren't making the 17 on Sundays, which is certainly possible, will Leeds really want them facing the likes of Hemel Stags and South Wales Scorpions (no disrespect intended but there's a gulf between Championship & Championship 1)?

Problem is, if they go to Featherstone on a "permanent" contract they can't then train with Leeds. That's what the club got into bother for last year.

| Interesting to see Robbie Ward going to "pursue his NRL dream" by playing for one of Melbourne's feeder clubs on the Sunshine Coast.
Still, if Ian Sibbitt can play in the NRL you never know.

Liam Hood has left Salford and made a similar move over to Australia.

Even the p*ss-wet afternoon in Dewsbury must hold some attractions after Salford.

| I say good luck to all the young lads giving it a go in Australia.
No family ties, what have they got to lose? The chance to experience a totally new life & lifestyle, it was the making of Peacock, let's hope they make to most of the opportunities offered.

| Agreed. If they knuckle down a year in Australia will do their development far more good than a year in the lower leagues.
