He’s nearly always a nightmare, flabbergasted we extended his deal. 

First game I have watched in a few weeks as I have been so busy.

The yellow for me, is a yellow with the rules and regs we have today, it's that simple for me.  How many times have we seen accidental contact by the shoulder or arm with the head this season and they have been binned?  Murphy didn't mean to do it, but it's the tacklers responsibility to lower his tackle technique.  So on this occasion, it's Murphy's responsibility to not lead with his knee.  Yes of course it may stop him from jumping so high, but if that means he's not putting another player in danger, that's what it has to be. He was lucky he didn't land fully on the head too.  It was still enough to look nasty.


Welsby, as much as a player he is, he aint half a whiney no neck bell always looking for a squabble, similar to Newman I suppose.

At times I thought Saints were holding down and messing about in the tackle too much and this wasn't picked up by the ref either.  I thought in general he didn't have a great game.

Last year when he was injured we really missed his doggedness and bite at times.  I can see why we extended.  But also agree last night he was a pain.

I guarantee the novelty would wear off after having to listen to him shouting for 80 minutes 3 or 4 games a week. 

Is the game available on catch up anywhere other than superleague+. ?

A drawstring audio toy would be better than the current sky team

I've just been informed that Paul Wellens is no longer the Saints head coach.
Only a rumour at present as nothing  has been officially announced online yet by the Saints club....Watch this space tho

True, Ben Gardiner coming in to replace him.

10 games in we are 4th. I would suggest the next month,  with games against Hull at home, Cas away, and Wakey at home will be pivotal in terms of our season. Win those three and suddenly we look like contenders. If we can manage to bring Hastings into replace Frawley I think our squad (without the sparkle of Wigan and KR) bats deeper than any other in the league. Interesting times.
