There's some ability in the group that obviously needs adding to but the bigger work in preseason is on their durability and concentration to perform for much longer periods. We perform at a good level in the first half then back to back errors and sloppyness and we're back where we started

Don't let the score at half time fool you. Stupid errors. Take the wrong option every time. Rolled through the middle every week. Most players aren't fit to wear the shirt, wouldn't be bothered if every player except Croft was sacked (excluding the kids).

Positives it wasn't a smashing and Edgell error aside, first half was decent. Lumb also decent. We also did defend well in the first half.
At least this draws a line under another poor season. Its going to take a while to build this squad up. It needs some serious investment and thats not going to happen overnight.
