Yes, best player on the park by a long way tonight. He's a good un. Just needs the platform to play off.

| Played some nice stuff tonight, thought Martin, Ackers and Miller were very good. Croft was exceptional, as others have said look what he can deliver behind a dominant pack. Really pleased for Alfie, was where he should have been and finished really, really well. Again, doing the basics well off good, quick ball. Just reinforces for me that if we get a couple of heavy hitting props and a nasty 2nd row we will be a completely different proposition next term. The backs aren't perfect but nowhere near as bad as some suggest. A better platform will make a world of difference. If BA sees the need to strengthen then all the better, but a more aggressive forward pack will transform us.

Had a quick look and only thing I can see to unlock it is 19.99 a month for a subscription?

Unfortunately for you the £9.99 option is only available pre match.

| Very enjoyable. Played some good rugby. Nice to see us run up a decent score.

"Leeds is the greatest club in Rugby League"
Alex Murphy 2011: |
|
| Quote: Trebor1 "Yep and this is one of the reasons why the game is struggling.'"
You’re right. I’ve been an unbroken season ticket holder for about 17-18 years and I’ve never missed a home game until this season. We’ve booked holidays around fixtures and the rugby has always been priority whatever the fixture, however poor we were playing. This season we decided to miss the second London home game and last night’s. Jack Burton may say higher quality games negates the downsides of loop fixtures but that simply isn’t the case. For me having to play four home fixtures with no away following has sucked the life out of this season along with the ridiculous situation where a team can turn up like last night sitting joint bottom and there’s no consequence for losing. The folly of IMG and the RFL’s ridiculous decision was apparent about halfway through the 2nd half where Hull started piling in trying to turn it into a slugfest. Without some restraint from our lads and Arthur’s removal of Lisone Hull would have got exactly what they wanted. Would they have been bothered if they had 3 or 4 men sat down next week…..why would they ? The implications for us however to have players banned while we have something to play for could have been season ending. So yes, the four home games with no away fans and the pointless games (for teams like Hull) who have the protection from relegation have killed it for me.

| I've had a season ticket for far more years than I care to remember, 40+. There have been many seasons where I have headed off to games without looking forward to it, last night was one of them. While it was good to put a score on against Hull, the lack of competitive opposition was disappointing. I at least left HQ with a smile on my face.
My point is, I'll keep supporting and going to the games through thick and thin. This season has probably been one of the most dissapointing after promising so much, but not the first and probably won't be the last. I don't go to away games anymore (or not many) but Leeds always have been and always will be my team and I'll go to home games as long as I'm able. I appreciate not everyone is of the same opinion and they are entitled to theirs. Rhinos till I die

Yep, I didn't have a huge motivation to go last night either, but I'm glad I did. Things will turn around, they always do. And when they do, knowing that you were there when times were tough makes it all the more rewarding. 14k home season average over a very dissapointing year says a lot about the basic loyalty of the fanbase.

| Some quality attacking play on show last night built on the early desire to defend, croft was class and martin is going to be a huge loss and not just for hisboot. Arthur really impressed me with his comments about his own role in leading the team in the build up during the week, and the need to reflect on himself. He spoke of needing to step back on the emphasis of addressing attitude and put trust in the players. I think this was really evident as the team looked like they took ownership of the performance.

| II wasn't going to bother going either but glad I did in the end . Good to see a few smiles on faces for a change, although I don't think anyone will get carried away, given the fact Hull were absolutely dire. When I saw the guy warming the team up,none other than our ex-conditioner ( Lol ) or whatever he was supposed to be, Jason Davidson . I feel sorry for Gaz Ellis and Danny Houghton been associated with this shambles.

Without wanting to have a pop at Smith, he sounded like a man who'd read 50 books on leadership theory. Arthur sounds and acts like a man who's had years of top level practical experience. In other words - a very safe bet.

Smiths approach was built around a bit of 'play whats infront of you (play what you see)' its a shame that didnt extend to his coaching so that he could see the approach wasnt working. As you allude to its time to put down the theory books and respond to what it actually looks like at the coal face.
