Hmmm, your’s is an opinion and mine is “ranting and raving”? Being happy about losing or just being competitive is not an objective assessment on the likely outcome of the game, it’s accepting second best against one of your rivals. We’re not London Bronco’s if you hadn’t noticed. If you pay a sparky to come into your home and the house burns down a couple of weeks later due to shoddy work ultimately it’s a failure for you. If you get a good guy and everything is hunky dory it’s a success for you. I don’t see how when a speccie pays good money to his club and they fail miserably the failure is not felt by the spectator, of course it is. My comment “how the mighty have fallen” was relating to the club, however your opinion that fans are not mighty couldn’t be further from the truth. Fans make or break a club, and if they all walk away there’s no club. If I see a bloke walking down Elland Road wearing a Leeds shirti in a few hours grinning like a madman when we’ve only lost by 12 points and “built a bit of momentum” I”ll know who it is.

Decent performances on show from Leyland then Farrimond. Can Sinfield follow, can we establish enough territory and posession to give him and Frawley a platform.

They should penalise teams for holding the ball in the scrum.

No issues with the mistakes we’ve made so far, they are commitment mistakes rather than lack of commitment mistakes. There’s a big difference.

Playing well so far

Now that mistake was one I’m not happy with. We’ve been OK here, competing.

Think the scoreline flatters Warrington so far

Our attack is too slow and flat, we looked far sharper last week without smith, Frawley and Sinfield need to push him out of the way and take charge.

Deffo flatters them at the minute.

Would give lots of credit to Mom and Newman, they’ve clearly upped their work rate and Mom especially was very effective in yardage.

Jack looks better defensively too.

Smith should have been used as an interchange prop and not a ball playing LF.
We looked far better with O`Connor in the LF role last week.

Actually I think Jack is getting involved in more defence, but his tackle success isn’t really improving. He’s getting into contact, but not completing tackles, falling off until others come to complete them. He still needs to improve here. With the ball he’s been unlucky so far, the kick for whoever it was that pointed in behind was unfortunate not to come off, and the pass that was put down when McDonnell(?) was through again was unfortunate.

His halfback partner hasn’t really stepped up, he’s gone backwards from recent performances.

Good to see continued progress from last week though crofts absence has restricted our threat. I wish Millar would know when to find his front. I hope to see us stick to the process and not get caught up in chasing the 8points, eliminate some of the soft errors and penalties too. Not a great half from frawley especially with the boot.
