| Rest in peace Rob. Heart of a lion, thanks for everything.
Thanks to the supporters of other clubs posting their tributes on here, it’s nice to see how much people respected Rob.

| so very sad news. He caused us a lot of pain in his playing days , especially Grand Finals ,but you couldn't fail to admire his bravery in later life as he battled MND. RIP Rob
I hope Kevin Sinfield will be knighted for efforts to raise funds to fight this horrible disease.

| Very sad news for the family, friends, Leeds Rhinos and the wider Rugby League fraternity. RIP Rob, Wembley is going to be very, very quiet for a minute on Saturday.

| RIP Rob
A fitting tribute would be a statue at the ground, either of him alone or with Sir Kev.

Rob Burrow - The Passing of a LegendWe were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of England, Great Britain and Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow at the age of just forty-one years from complications of the Motor Neurone Disease which he has suffered so bravely and inspirationally since his diagnosis almost five years ago. Rob passed today at Pinderfield's Hospital in Wakefield after a short illness after he was admitted earlier in the week and he leaves behind his brave and dedicated wife Lindsay, along with his three children Macy, Maya and Jackson who have been so brave over the last few years and inspirational in their support of Dad and family man Rob. Rob retired from rugby league in 2017 after sixteen successful seasons at his only club, Leeds Rhinos where he made 492 appearances and scored 195 tries and 157 goals. During his club career he won eight Super League Grand Finals, two Challenge Cups, three World Club Challenge Cups, three League Leaders Shields, two Harry Sunderland Trophies, three selections for the Super League Dream Team and an MBE in the 2021 Queens New Years Honours List. The was a perfect professional, feared and admired by all in the game, able to play way beyond his stature and weight, and a fabulous representative of the game in the public eye. | Ive never met Rob Burrow but I have to admit, it made me cry, I've been a hugr fan of RL for many a year, I used to dread it when my team (Huddersfield Giants) played Rhinos, with the likes of Sinfield, McGuire, Senior & Burrows came to town
The No7 was 4 foot nothing, and an absolute joy to watch, his runs from dummy half, picking the ball up 1 handed put teams instantly on the back foot, he played the game how it should be played, he played like a 7 foot giant, he got stuck in, wasn't scared to tackle those prop forwards at 18 stone plus, he wore his heart on his sleeve.
I don't like to throw the word "Legend" around easy but this lil player was, the game has lost a an all time great, a legend of the game & will be sorely missed.
Thank you for the memories, one I'm sure those in RL will cherish over a number of years.
My thoughts are with his Wife, kids, family & friends - especially Kevin Sinfield who was not only his team mate but his best friend.
Good night #7 God bless you.
RIP Rob Burrow.

| One day, thanks in no small way to way to Rob and Kevin, a cure for this terrible disease will be found and that will be Rob's legacy. But until then all our sport has lost a lion and a wonderful human being.
Rest in peace Rob.

| Don`t know what to say that hasn`t already been said.
Fabulous player, fabulous person and a fabulous family.
One of the best players I`ve ever seen and one of the most humblest you could wish to meet.
Thoughts are with his parents and his wife and kids at this very sad time.
RIP Robbie.

| One of the most exciting players ever to grace a RL pitch. A true champion in every sense of the word. Hero is a word often overused, but not in this case. Thoughts with his family and friends. RIP Rob.
