| Hull FC are a dead club. They're lucky London are in the comp.

Sustained intensity like that for 80 mins requires very high fitness levels, and forwards who can play big minutes.

86.jpg Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.
We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.
But you’ve got to keep believing.:86.jpg |

| Can anyone remember the reason James Harrison wasn't retained by Leeds after his spell with us in 2020? He'd be exactly the player we need right now.

| Enjoyable error strewn try fest between wire and dracs. Hope the same version of wire rock up at HQ next week.

| Neither looked that good especially in defence.
Saying that Saints Wigan was nothing to write home about in attack and defence in that game ruled the way.
Maybe we are not that bad after all.

We’re not that bad at all. Just clear we can’t sustain that intensity for long against a top team. We are def top 6 side, looking up. Think few of us just wanted bit more, but have to readjust expectations….

I agree Shabs.
With our squad I thought we were still behind Wigan, Saints and Catalans and pushing HKR and Warrington for 4th.
6th for me is not good enough.

| Cracking game tonight with forwards who were prepared to run straight and hard with skill in the halves.
Thought Catalans just about deserved the win.

| Again, a game played with the intensity you want to see, but I'm not sure the skill levels were where they should be for 2 of the top 3. There were so many errors in that 2nd half.
I'm glad Catalans won though, they deserved it.
Was that Makinson try really a try? It didn't look like he got it down.

He also had a good view of their other try that he gave, only for the video ref to say it wasn`t grounded.
I`m not convinced Makinson`s was a try tbh.

Not really important, was given so a try.

On the contrary. Very important. Many hailed the video ref at every game as a silver bullet but what do we have? Inconsistency continues to reign, both within and across games. To refer or not refer? Then the guesswork kicks in. I have a try. Inconclusive video evidence leading to the refs guesswork being confirmed. An utter shambles of a system. Use it to its full extent or get rid and accept mistakes will be made. But when the technology is available and either not used or bound by some nonsensical prior guesswork, it's yet another facet that makes the game look amateurish.

So amateurish that football has gone down same road. I’d ditch it tomorrow and just let the refs, ref. But just look at the grief the ref already gets. It’s a no win situation with the modern fan……

The application of it, with the "I have a try" guesswork is amateurish. Haven't a clue how it works in football. As I say, either use it properly (which in reality means sparingly for glaring errors or where the ref is genuinely unsighted) or ditch it, yes.
