| We have no chance tonight but hopefully we give it a go and try and play some rugby. Concern is that our lack of go forward gives no platform for whoever plays in the halves.

Yes.....it is ludicrous. Just watched the North Queensland Vs Cronulla Sharks game this morning and there was a tackle after the kick that was worse than Prior's. It wasn't even a penalty
The disciplinary has no excuse whatsoever. I can forgive referee issues on heat of the game. The disciplinary have as long as they want and as many replays as the want. The Prior ban is just utter madness

That's kind of my hope too. Overconfident Wigan coupled with us at home and our improved attack. I think if we win it'll be a high scoring sneaked win . Here's hoping

| Can’t believe people were even taking any any chance of winning. Keeping Wigan to win 20 points will be an achievement with the team we’ll have out. French scored 7 tries v Hull last time out!!

A warrior coming in peace. I agree - utter madness. Similarly with Singleton’s ban; I saw a similar incident in the NRL last week ( the Tigers game I think) when the exact same offence was penalised by a sin binning. The whole commentary team were unanimous in the decision although they did reference last season when any head contact or late tackle on the ball kicker was an automatic sending off. I think we need to catch up!

Handley scored 5 Shabs - I wouldn't overly analyse a team spanking Hull at the moment

| I don't think Wigan are world beaters and with a strong side, I think we are more than capable of beating them, however, in the absence of props, hooker and half back, we really are going to struggle.

| Of course I may be proved wrong later but regardless of the result with the key positions missing key players, with Smith in charge I think we'll still see a performance that demonstrates that the team is moving forwards.

Rohan’s a good coach, but not a miracle worker. Missing our spine we won’t have enough ball in good position to look good.

| I'd actually say it's the lack of field position that will cost us. We won't get far enough from our line to defend when they have the ball, or close enough to their line to show what we can(not) do when we have it.
The front row remain our biggest problem, until we fix that you and I could play in the halves and it wouldn't matter.

You can still lose comfortably (which I think we will) and see that the players on the field have played to their potential.
What I mean is when Agar was in charge key players were missing but you could still say we were awful with Smith I think we could lose by 4 scores and still be able to identify positives and not feel completely hopeless.
But as Batley says we're going to need a creative game plan to gain a balance of territory. I'd be leaning on those 3/4s to get into the middle of the field as much as possible.

Could do with an early sending off for Wigan to even it up.
