Sezer was outstanding against Wire and pretty good first 25 minutes against Wigan. We lost the game because the forwards were sub standard when Tetevano and Prior went off, not because the half backs were bad. Austin, for my money, was close to our best.

I also have a mental block with Bodene Thompson thinking it should be Anderson for some reason.

With Mustapha, Holroyd, Walters, Smith and Bentley out, and Martin away on compassionate, we have no choice but to have Thompson on the bench.

Napa, Dudson, Bousquet and Goudemand missing for Catalan, huge blows for them.

Had’nt realised Goudemand was also out, that is good news. I’d send a lot of traffic at Kasiano early doors to tire him out.

Oh for a Kasiano or Paasi in our pack.
I`ve been saying it for a while that a forward like that is just what we need.

Tindell did well, he should keep his place and Broadbent should get a chance too.

In the pack we are kind of stuck. Short a good power prop and then the injuries/ etc. We are now paying for the failure in acquisition and a mix of poor discipline/ lack of understanding regarding how the rules are going to be used

Still no Fusitu’a or newman.

I wouldnt risk Handley or Smith if another week is needed.

That team would have no chance against a healthy Catalans side, but they are depleted so probably quite an even game now. Think if we play ok we might get the W. Back line won’t create much, but we’ll have the edge up front.
Worry not to see Fusitua back.. I wonder if he’s having post concussion issues……

I wouldn't be risking any player with any doubts to be honest.

If Newmans injury got worse by playing it could be a long term one, and if Fusituia isn't quite right then he absolutely shouldn't be playing.

Nor sure how bad Handley and Smiths injuries are though, if they are both out I would go.

If Smith and Handley are injured agreed. If they are fit enough to play they should play though, it’s common for players to carry bumps and bruises into games, I guess only the player, physio and coaching staf will know. If Smith is fit he replaces Thompson for me who was very poor last week.

Oledzkis possibly doubtful aswell.

He didnt look fit towards end of last game.

There was some crazy old guy, really tight, small beanie and red cagoule who stood up and started shouting at Oledzki to get involved. Thought he was a bit harsh to be fair.
