| Surprised tickets aren’t available yet, can you buy away tickets direct from Wigan?

| Given the ‘clamp down’ I reckon Dwyer will get a 1 game ban, Bentley between 4-6 games
If any justice the Currie incident should also be picked up and deserves a ban but then again, Cullen is the head of the disciplinary panel….

Other than on the rlLeeds ticketing website?rl
Looking forward to this, first home Wigan game I've been to in years thanks to the 150 mile round trip and usually working Fridays. Coworker's a Leeds fan and he's going as well, looking forward to giving him some banter during the week.

If ever there was an ironic appointment it’s Cullen. More teeth in his forearms then most people have in their heads…

I reckon Currie might well cop a ban too.
As for Cullen, I reckon the others on the panel likely have to remind him he's not there to award marks out of ten..

| Quote: The Magic Rat "The problem with the disciplinary giving a ban the following week, is why wasn't he sent off? It was suggested the ref didn't get a good look at the Austin one because he was concentrating on the tackle that followed. Fair enough, but what's the excuse this week. The officials saw it, it was on the screen and the 4th official presumably had an input. The reason that he wasn't sent off is because not a single person in the stadium thought it worthy of a red card. To then get a ban would be ridiculous. But I would not be surprised tbh.'"
Absolutely spot on

| I would hope we will transition to Broadbent at left centre at some point soon, Briscoe and Suttcliffe are solid options but cant gelp feeling we would of got something from one of them late left hand side attacks if Broadbent was there instead of Suttcliffe.

| So…
We’ll be without Dwyer, and obviously Bentley (for one and three games respectively)
Bentley doesn’t bother me were ok at SR even with Martin going home - Mellor and Gannon to start for me.
So we either run with one hooker or OConner on the bench, can we recall Johnson?
Myler surely wont be fit but hopefully Newman will be back. Fizzy could be out this week also?
1. Walker
2. Briscoe
3. Newman/broadbent
4. Sutcliffe
5. Handley
6. Austin
7. Sezer
8. Oledski
9. Leeming
10. Prior
11. Gannon
12 Mellor
13. Smith
14. Tetevano
15. Thompson
16. Donaldson
17. Johnson/Oconner

Oledski is the big worry for me. Hope his knee is alright. Johnson, if we can get him back from Bradford, would give us more composure in the big moments. I think Fuzzy will definitely be missing. Real shame because he's a scary prospect for any defence.

| No ban for currie, so the high shot that knocked someone out goes totally unpunished, why are we clamping down on head shots again? Player safety? Absolute farce. Cullens an absolute clown and the diciplinary not fit for purpose.

| So Dwyer is banned. I agree we need to smarten up in this area, but a ban is a tough call imo and adds to the confusion why he wasn't sent off at the time. His offence deemed worse than the Currie one on Fusitua, and equal to Holmes on Donaldson.
Anyway onto Wigan and it would be nice to see Corey Johnson get a chance, but if he's playing tonight it seems likely O'Connor will be interchange Hooker. If he had have been fit I wonder if Myler would have filled in at 9.
Looking forward to it, but it feels like we are up against it a bit already. Partly self inflicted, granted.

I still think the squad above is capable of a win, bar prop we are better equipped this year to deal with players out.
Hope Fuzzy can play though, not sure what the protocols are with him not going off with a HIA

| Yep, one game in and we are already bemoaning injuries and suspensions.
I guess this will be the case for most of the season.
Feels like we are better equipped this season to cope - apart from in the front row.
Surely, with Dwyer banned, we bring Johnson back straight away?

| There is one element that all Rugby league supporters want in the game`s officiating and that is CONSISTENCY . It is not rocket science , but over the years , it really has been impossible to achieve , and the latest approach to head high contact just seems to be continuing this abject failure .
Whether intentional or not Currie concussed an opponent with contact to the head with his shoulder - how can that go unpenalised . In the Hudds v Toulouse game , Chris Hill catches an opposing forward flush on the chin with a swinging arm when making a tackle - missed by ref and linesman , but surely this has to be addressed by the Disciplinary.
I don`t like to see coaches having a go at officials , but when they are not doing their job, then they should kop for the criticism they deserve , until they get it right
