| I think this is the best decision for the team. This season Hurrell has been very ordinary and i can only remember him having one good game this year against a Cas team that just rolled over.I just hope we now go and sign at least one prop hopefully two.

| Well I’m expecting us to bring in a prop now and a quality one. I’m also unsure if these leaves us lacking some quality depth out wide..

| I think next year is a big one for Sutcliffe, we should have enough cover in other positions for him not to be shunted around the team, give him the centre spot (easily his best position imo) and let him settle there (injuries permitting). Despite the flak he gets on here he is a talented RL player and looked at his best the last time he was given a good run in his preferred position.
Broadbent will be pushing him all the way for that spot so shouldn’t get complacent.

I can hear Uncle Gary now saying “well King decided his future lay elsewhere, so we’re very pleased to welcome Muizz Mustapha back to the club following his very successful loan spell with Hull KR. It’s a case of 1 in 1 out so we don’t see a need to add further to the squad.”

| Good luck to him, but I think this was inevitable.
We were not going to offer him the same deal.
He’s one of those players that if you watch his highlights reel, then you think you’ve signed one of the best.
But watch a few 80 mins games and realise the flaws.
Enjoyed having home here, but time to move on.

Look at last week, hes out with a foot/ankle injury, hes in a boot yet runs across pitch with his crutch in the air to South Stand. Hobbling on it all the way
Just stupid could have made his injury worse. Just about summed him up to me.
A really likeable character, a powerful bloke but is he a professional? Wish him well at Saints, hope he knuckles down. Probably wont happen.'"
Yeah agree. I think if Ronnie's job had been up for grabs he'd have stayed

| Good luck to him at Saints. I don't think he ever really had a future here after the game v FC in May.

This sums it up for me. Woolf looks a hard case. I suspect he will make him train harder and lose weight and be better as a result. Could see saints using him as an impact bench player in the second row/loose like Murdoch M was at Warrington.
If woolf gets him fitter it won’t reflect well on our back room staff who’ve had 3 years to get him fit and failed to do so.

The responsibility of being fit ultimately rests with the player. You can train as hard as you want, but if someone’s living on junk food at home it’s a losing battle..

I agree it is mainly down to the player but if he does not do it himself and is on marquee money, the coaching/conditioning team need to man manage him to better fitness.
I reckon Brian McD would have been onto him relentlessly and cajoled/bullied him to be a better, fitter player so as not to let down his teammates.
Woolf may also fail to do this, time will tell.

| Do we think the club aren't announcing this yet until they have a new signing, Hurrell is a very popular player maybe they want to announce a signing alongside him leaving for some good PR?

One thing is for certain if Bielsa were the coach of the Rhinos Hurrell would be three stone lighter and much fitter

Being weighed daily before you start training helps focus the mind. If the results are going the wrong way, you get put through the mill on your own until it improves.
