| Jackson Hastings high tackle states 'unknown'. Does that mean review is ongoing?

| Think he`s lucky to only get 3 for the Welsby one and only 1 for the Percival one.
4 + 2 about right plus maybe 1 more for acting like a nob.

| Pleased Tet wasn't banned. Did nothing wrong but the disciplinary isn't shy of doling out bans these days

| Interesting one this are Wigan as bad as they seem or will they have a bit of a reaction from a poor defeat?
As decimated as we are we can put a decent side out im hoping that Prior, Holroyd and Tetevano are just too strong for their small young pack
Need to watch out for Fields speed though

| Got a feeling it might be another where we set up a near match winning lead only to end up in a desperate scrap

| Myler
T Briscoe, Newman, Broadbent, L Briscoe
Lui, McLelland
King, Leeming, Tet,
Donaldson, Martin
Smith
Dwyer, Holroyd, Gannon, Prior
I would try the Newman/Broadbent partnership, if Jack is truly fit. A starting pack with plenty of whack in D and then on come Prior and Holroyd.
After a brutal game against Saints I would be taking it straight to Wigan and testing them down the middle. Win the energy battle and then open up on them. We still have a strong-ish side there despite absences.

| Whilst we will probably still have more players absent than Wigan it doesn't feel that way, simply because it has become the norm. I never ever take a Wigan side lightly, but I think our pack has a clear edge. This should be winnable.

Agree with this thought I fully expect Wigan to appeal Bateman's ban, and suspect it will be rescinded with an additional fine.Dont think that would be right after Myler received a 2 match ban earlier in the season for a similar offence but hey ho.

From what I've seen of them, they're hopeless. They don't make any metres with the ball, their play the balls are pedestrian and they just don't do enough to trouble teams. They didn't even threaten the Saints line the other night and are averaging fewer points per game than Leigh.
There will inevitably be a response early doors from Wigan. They got battered at home in the derby and they are all reeling from that. They will come out swinging early, but if Leeds can weather that, the fatigue from the number of games they've played and the short turnaround from the game against us will see them drop off.
After that if Leeds just watch Hastings and do a decent job on him, they win the game.

| Wigan always compete and are a difficult team to breakdown defensively. Their attack has clearly struggled of late but its never easy over there and it wont be tomorrow.
Cant see many of us travelling over tomorrow night. Be interesting to see how many go.

They are still a decent side on paper - I just can’t work out how bothered I am about results this season. We are safe from relegation and my sights are on 2022.
I honestly think Agar smells blood this year; that if we can sneak into the play-offs anything can happen if we get some bodies back.
Fair dos, you need to play what what you see in front of you.

'" Do you? I think once we lost Oledzki and Gale for the year it was obvious we would have to shift the focus to 2022 which is a big, big year.

Yes if we get into the play-offs there is a decent chance both Mik and Gale will be available again.
I don't think we are the same side without either player really - but the club will be thinking if we can just qualify, there's nobody in there we can't beat on the day (with key players back).
If you look at our points difference this year - I know it's only one stat - we're in 4th I think. I'm not sure whether we are quite there with a title-winning squad for 2022, but I do expect us to be thereabouts with Sezer, Austin and Bentley added, plus more development time into our very young side.
If we do lose King and Hurrell, I'd like to think we would seriously look for an upgrade prop in the mould of a Satae. If we could have 4x 10m-average-gain props in the side that would be huge, we would be extremely difficult to handle.
Cats and Saints have been clearly the best sides all year and by rights one of them should take the title in a GF between the two. Then again, I said this at the time but with a different selection policy I feel we should have taken a win off Cats in that double-header we had, we weren't a million miles off.
