Krisleeds is saying no to A Sutcliffe.

A Sutcliffe usss CJ a strange one, looks a useful squad player with utility value, and probably to progress his own career may need to go elsewhere to get a regular starting spot.

For me doesn't look big enough for second row and is probably 5th choice centre. I can see him moving on.

Reminds me alot of Jimmy Keinhorst. Very useful player, but probably just not for us......

Having someone like Donno at the club lifts training standards, and that makes a massive difference too....

I need to see more of A Sutcliffe to form an opinion but I can see Broadbent coming past him into the centres this season, and we are stacked in the back row already. He is a very good defender though - maybe a Donaldson apprentice, who knows.

Broadbent has to do more pace better hands and feet. I just hope Broadbent gets a decent chance at centre. Hurrell from I've read could be out for a few weeks. Apparently he has torn his calf. The article said he's been struggling preseason with it but doesn't say when he tore it. If it's a grade 1 tear then 1 to 2 weeks, grade 2 to 4 to 6 weeks grade 3 to 4 months.

Hurrell's size and conditioning makes this no surprise sadly..

Surely anyone can tear a hamstring regardless of conditioning. Jai Field mightve torn his last night and hes hardly a fatwhack.

Weve certainly had a bad start with the numbers we have out. Hopefully it gives an opportunity to Broadbent but i wouldnt be suprised to see Briscoe and Sutcliffe boys today if halves are Eastmond and Gale.
