I'm 2 way on this. I don't doubt that Fridays are bad for young kids. However, for teenagers wanting to sup the odd under-age ale, chant, sing etc away from the influence of their parents it's much better (not necessarily for those of us who have to suffer their antics, mind). But like it or loathe it, some of them too are the fans of the future - and there's fewer years until they'll be paying top dollar for the privilege, a fact I'm sure that won't have escaped GH...

I would imagine Friday nights are all about Corporate, which will make the club far more money than the actual attendance.

As I say I much prefer Friday nights to any other nights/days but I totally understand why people would prefer Sunday afternoons.

Just speaking for myself I prefer Fridays .Its start of the weekend social thing ,I look Forward to a pint after the game

Friday night for me also as its the start of the weekend and I can have a beer. If Leeds introduced more Sunday games then I would not renew as I believe there is already too many Thursday and Sunday games.

Leeds tried Sunday games and attendances were poor. That was in the old winter era. Attendances picked up when we started playing Friday nights as our regular game time. I also remember supporters complaining that Sunday afternoons in summer clashed with playing/watching cricket and taking kids to the coast. I guess you can never win but personally I prefer the atmosphere on a Friday night to any other time!

The quality of entertainment and, more importantly, the proportion of “W”s have more effect on Leeds’ attendances than anything.

We have also lost some fans through clubs getting relegated. The away support really helps create buzz around a fixture.

We also have outpost clubs (London, Toronto) who have no local derby available. It’s always amused me why some seem to think RL fans will travel like premier league football fans.

There are lots of things which could be done to boost attendances, but they are no longer the be-all commercially.

We gained a lot of regular fans from 2004 onwards remember the 17K seasons? Then it evened off at 15 to 16 + . Now so e of those extra spectators weren't used to mediocre periods and fell away . I'm not calling them glory hunters because we want them back

If Leeds United get promoted do you think that your attendances will be affected?

They might be affected now , they are fans of both clubs who support both as well as cas ,wakey etc . Our crowds were on the rise though in Leeds Uniteds last good period. .itll be interesting to see
ER at present only holds 37k and they are getting over 35k now

leeds utd have sold out virtually every game this season and it hasnt affected the rhinos

For me taking my kids to the games are a big thing and I much prefer the Saturday or Sunday games for their sake. It’s worth the season ticket for the young ones just if they go to them as it’s £50 all in.

Games on Saturdays and Sundays potentially clashes with young ones and older ones actually playing the game.

Friday night games mean people can go to the game, have a beer and talk about the game in the changing rooms on the Saturday
