Think you’ll struggle in this one, Huddersfield are a class above you atm and will probably win easily

It’s actually a couple of things, the front row and the way we play.

We potentially have two good props, an aging one who might still have some good days but is mostly ineffective these days, and some young players who lack the experience to be leaders. On top of that we’ve got a seasoned pro who’s on his way back from a long injury spell out. In terms of hooker we have just signed someone who might be good for us, we have another who is full of energy and enthusiasm but lacks control, direction, decision making and delivery. Then we’ve got a kid who could be a great success if handled correctly.

In terms of the style of play, we don’t play to our (limited) strengths. We should be playing with a bit more depth due to our lack of pace, and should be running more lines to move defenders around just before moving the ball. We’ve got one centre playing out of position on the wing, and the other playing some kind of hybrid prop role as we don’t have enough go forward.

There’s still a lot of work to do with the squad and coaching team, we need to be patient.

That kid hasn’t been handled correctly. Might end up too late there.

Not confident about this one at all. The Giants halves were great against Catalans by all accounts so if our pack is second best again it could be a long 80 minutes.

Ward out already after round 1 I hope that's not a sign of things to come. Can't see Hurrell making the game either because haven't the concussion rules been changed to 8 days now instead of a week. From 21 man squad I think Agar will go with

Me personally I'd have Myler starting this with Dwyer as interchange, pack looks better with Seumanufagai in it but still light of a prop, backs look poor with no Hurrell or T.Briscoe though.
