Sending heavy traffic at Tui wouldnt make it uncomfortable for him. He would just wave it through like he did for us.

I dont think we will play a weakened team but I'm hoping Corey gets a chance off the bench to gain some experience but an ankle knock at London might put pay to that. Personally I would give Jack Broadbent a game on the wing too but I cant see that happening.

Like you I'm hoping to see Corey in the first team before season end.

Broadbent - I'd give Hurrell a break, he has been struggling with knee, hamstring, ankle injuries for a while. Broadbent is a classic and classy centre for me and I'd play him at centre.

Stephens would be your man for a wing spot IMO. His footwork would cause senior players some headaches, although he's going to let a couple past him in D.

I'm not sure where we're at with loan arrangements and the ability to recall some players.

I'd like to see Walters given a go but I've seen him with some poor efforts in D and I'd worry about him playing open age until he strengthens up a bit.

Agree but I think Agar will go with the same squad who has got us out of the mire.

I’m sure Agar will get it right. There is no point in risking exacerbating injuries with players who are busted (Hurrell springs to mind). We could do with a good look at players like Smith, Oledzki and any Academy lads who may be first teamers next season within reason to see where they are at.

We’ve also got Donaldson and Lunt playing for contracts next year who may need more game time to help decide.

Good position to be in of course and we’ll only get so much out of two games. Sutcliffe is another who may need more time as second row/LF to see how he’s tracking into the off season because clearly that’s the area he’s heading in.

Stephens

Hurrell/Broadbent

Oledzki
Lunt

rlSalford 19 man squadrl

Pretty much a fully fit squad. I imagine we'll line up something like this:

1. Evalds
2. Sio
3. Welham
4. Inu
5. Bibby
6. Hastings
7. Lolohea
8. Mossop
9. Tomkins
10. Dudson
11. Jones
12. McCarthy
13. Burke

14. Lussick
15. Flanagan
16. Walker
17. J.Johnson

In my 36 years on Earth I've never seen Salford win at Headingley. Hopefully that'll change come 21:45 Friday night.

I've got a feeling you may get your wish! But anyway from our perspective it is going to be really really nice to be going to a game without an anxious feeling, that's only really happened 2 or 3 times in that 2 years! and If you guys beat us in a decent contest I'll be happy with that, I'd like Salford to shake up the playoffs this year as they play the game in the right way and are good to watch when on form.

Yep well apart from maybe playing Smith/Oledzki a bit more, that selection has pretty much ruined my guess!

Fair enough, strongest team out until the end.

You didn't attend on Easter Monday in 2009 (which I believe is Salford's only victory at Headingley in the SL-era)

Quote: rollin thunder "That's peed on a few Bonfires, foot on the gas for the rest of the season play our strongest side, some players need to show they are worthy of a starting shirt next season.'"

And rightly so, we are going to have one of our longest off seasons ever, why do we need to rest any players and play a weakened team. We need to finish on a positive that we can take into pre season.

Surely it's about having a look at some of the young up and coming prospects, rather than resting established players.
