| Yes I was thinking that CM.
We could use Kevin Sinfield to help out there or whoever is the kicking coach at Yorkshire Carnegie.

True enough although he's not alone where Webster's concerned, seen him do that a few times. What did impress me was how he didn't go into his shell afterwards, still went looking for the ball - and used it well.

| Regarding Handley, after the ball strip I remember seeing someone have a chat with him, words of advice and a bit of a pep talk seemed to do the trick as he did not do much wrong after that. If he can make such a big change during a game after a few seconds chat with someone on the field he is the kind of player I'd like around. Obviously listens to good advice.

| I know it was the case on Friday, but how often is goal kicking the difference between a win and a loss?
Does anybody have the stats on games won or lost by goal kicks for 2017 say?

| Watkins has a glass foot when it comes to kicking 10 metres to the right of the sticks.
He has missed 6+ in the last year. It would have been 7 had he missed the one against Hull when his slipped during the kick.
In this area of the pitch he should be kicking them over every time.
He missed in this same area against Cas in the first half. If only we had those 2 points.

The most ridiculous comment I’ve seen yet!
Jake Webster has done that to far more experienced centres than Handley. He was brilliant against Hull and Saints. That step for his second try against Cas was top class. Senior-esque. The pass to put Hall away when most (Moon included) would go for the hat-trick showed great composure and selflessness. I hope we stick with Handley at centre. He’s overtaken Sutcliffe imo.

on current form could not disagree, Sutcliffe slipping further down the pecking order.

2 games a season maketh not.
We'll see, but i'm not convinced. He's still in the headless chicken bracket for me.
I would be pleased to be proven wrong.

Trent Hodkinson was available but for whatever reason we didn't make a move.
There are a few about, but Gary's chequebook remains covered in dust.

| Watkins kicked well today, and to be fair to him, he's had a superb start to the season overall, and the responsibility of the captaincy, and a great world cup has taken his game to the next level.

Agree about his overall performance. The captaincy is really bringing out more in him and that we've had a few fight back performances already this season speaks volumes about the group and he's obviously leading the group.
As for his goal kicking, I said previously it looked like he possibly hadn't been practising much since last season ended and wasn't doing it when with England and being one of the last back to preseason. Hopefully today's a sign he just needed time to get back the momentum he had towards the end of 2017 with the boot.

| Interesting comment from Mac in the press conference, he basically said I don’t care about Kallums form jyst about how he is mentally. I think the captain job was just what he needed to help with his recent issues, he looks a class above this season
