I expect our 2018 half backs to be Myler and Moon, with Keinhorst and Sutcliffe battling for the 2nd centre spot, with Burrow and Lilley back up hooker/half back.

The stats show the number of kicks but not the quality of kicks. We really need someone who will improve our kicking game.

This could be the start of a much delayed overall of the team and coaching staff. many of the long service players should retire with grateful thanks from the club and fans At the same time the recruitment of promising young players should take place consideration should be given to Patten,Connor or Savelio all of which struggle to regulary play for their present clubs. I am concerned that the present coaching staff are able to cope with the transistion to a new and possibly to a new style of play.l

At least Moon can go back to centre .

I'm happy with Myler's signing and I think he will prove to be a very astute signing,We just need to find/choose his HB partner

I would give Lilley a shot but i'm not too sure that the club will give him his chance of starting each week at 7

If we sign another HB then IMO Lilley's best option with us is to be on the bench as cover for HB and Hooker

I agree regards Moon, he does a job fair enough but now we have Myler as a running half we need a brain alongside him. Moon is a class act at centre anyway imo.

Moon is a good player who just so happens to have fallen into the centre position. Never been a natural centre.

Then what is Moon's 'natural' position? He started as a halfback in the NRL but was moved when it became clear he could do only one thing well - run. If anything his strengths would suggest full back, but I've no idea if he's ever played there or how he'd go on defence.

On Myler, I think as much as anything its a statement of intent that the need to shake things up has been recognised. I like a lot of the things he does, and whilst he has deficiencies, there isn't a halfback in SL who doesn't. If he sees this as his opportunity to kick on and be the main man, we could end up with a hugely positive signing.

No i don't think he is a complete natural there either but for me it is still his best position and there aren't many better running around SL.

Myler is a good signing as he always has an eye for an opening and has enough speed to take on defenses and his kicking game is not bad either. However we still need a game manager.

Shame he isn't a natural half back either but we are where we are
