| Warrington could do a lot worse than get McDermott in for a couple of years next season. The conditions over there look perfect for him, Brown and Gidley are excellent organisers who he could trust to manage the attack whilst he focuses on getting the team willing to die for each other.

| Warrington were really bad. Look absolutely devoid of confidence and poise, dont look fit, swing wildly from one up nothing plays to attempting wonder offloads.
Their season is pretty much over but they will walk through the 8s.

| 0 from 6 now, even we had managed two wins at this point. You'd have to fancy Hull to beat them next week which would leave us going there looking to leave them facing an 0-8 record
Surely their top 4 hopes are gone.

| Average backs, light weight pack, they're a shambles at the moment, and in dire need of players back.

Not sure who they're missing who would make too much of a difference except Currie and he won't be back for months yet. At first they lost some close games, now the scorelines are looking really bad and large margins, very much like what happened to us as the confidence drained out more and more each passing week.

| Warrington have some very average three quarters and their usual go forward from the pack is not happening right now which is leaving them badly exposed. Brown hasn't as yet added the impact he looked like he was going to against Brisbane too which is a big blow for them.
The top 4 is gone for sure now and the question is will they make the 8? I think they will still scrape it but have to turn the corner pretty soon.

I'm not disagreeing but that's what people said about us last year. When a team is struggling like That, the others smell blood. The confidence looks sapped out of them.

| Once they go a couple of scores down they look shot.
They're half breaks aren't getting converted into scores & like us last year their discipline is woeful.
I wouldn't be surprised to see T.Smith depart.

True and the next couple of fixtures are not offering much hope of regaining confidence so things may get worse before they get better for them.

Currie, Savelio, and Sims would improve their pack immensely, and Lineham and Atkins would make their backs more threatening, but I think they're not as good as many think they are. Amazing to think, some people want us to 'follow their model' It's Warrington that are following our 2016 model

| With regards to making the Top 8 I really think they need to pick up something in these next two games at home vs Hull and ourselves. Later in the season they have to play us, Hull, Wigan and Cas again and ALL of them are away. Also they have Wigan again at the Magic weekend.

| Yes I think they can do a Leeds(circa 2000 where Leeds went on a 13 match unbeaten run or something similar).Leeds still made the play offs that year after a terrible start if I recall. They just need that turn around/Allelluia moment in the season that all top clubs seem to find, and that should be comming soon. Sure the Leeds fixture will give them that much needed leg up.Would much rather see the Rhinos keep their foot on the Wire's head to keep them under water.

Sims has been playing? As have Lineham and Atkins until last night and Atkins is hardly reliable especially when the going gets tough.
As for Savelio, interesting quote from Smith posted on the Wire board
"Andre Savelio will play in reserve grade tomorrow, he needs to work on his defence before he can get back out there for us but he’s determined to do it."

Someone on the Hull board has started a thread saying they could go on a winning streak all the way into mid-May looking at their fixtures........so that almost certainly guarantees a Wire win over Hull next week then

Totally agree with that top paragraph.
Surprised to hear TS having a dig at Savelio when the same could be said of 95% of his 1st team.
It seems Patton is a scapegoat also especially when Brown & Gidley have both been garbage yet not dropped.
