| Well like it or not, that was a great advert for the format!
I'm sure KR will have a different opinion

| Would having a full 10 minutes of extra time hurt anyone? The NRL did the right thing this season abolishing golden point.

| Gutted at that, hate golden point. But Hull KR and Campese to blame for that loss. Easy to manage where they were. On the other thread always the talk of players from Super League not good enough for NRL. Here was a player from the NRL, an Aussie international, and State of origin. There is many better players than him in Super League, including Luke Gale, who apparently couldn't play in the NRL.

At least then both teams have a chance of getting hold of the ball.

Bit of a flawed arguement to use Campese as an example - he's not been good or fit enough for the NRL for about 6 years, with his last representative appearance in 2009. That's why he's in super league - he couldn't get a gig in the NRL.....
On his day (7 years ago) when fit, he was far superior to any halfback in the UK - the fact he gets a game over here despite having 5 years of consistent injuries and poor performances in the NRL says everything about the standard over here.

Maybe if Rovers had had a young fit strong academy prop out there instead of a ' walking ' Jamie Peacock O,Brien wouldn't have had a free kick at goal ?
All ifs and buts

| No pressure put on the kicker (O'Brien) on that last tackle whatsoever.
In fact, he was allowed to take his time, have a cup of tea, check his mobile phone for messages, have a stretch, then run five metres prior to lining up that drop goal.
See ya later Hull KR.

True, but why on earth the Hull KR defence didn't just flop on Evalds on the last play break away? get a yellow card, set up one tackle to go, game surely over. Instead the line was in bits and it was a much easier spread the ball and run in.
