That said, I'll be there ....who I'm supporting is anyone's guess.
Andy ellis is very good. Jon Davies grafts hard and has the heart of a lion. Atmosphere from 2000 fev fans will be that of 5000 people. Throw some rain in for good measure and it won't be a walk in the park.'"
there was close to 6k against bradford and they brought 2k, and im sure many more will turn out to support us against leeds

I do not think we should be getting ahead of ourselves here with the scoreline.
Yes we should be thumping them by 50 but yet again we should have been in the top 8`s and look what happened there.
Fev will be up for it that`s for sure especially Baldwinson who will be doing everything to prove a point.
Fitness wise we will be better now we have Kirkstall back
sorry as attractive as a game with Leeds is its no cup final. some of us have seen rovers win the cup at wembley more than once, i can assure you a qualifier against leeds is no cup final

| That may be the case but I'm sure if you asked the players and the fans who they would most like to beat in the middle 8's. Then I would guess that choice would be Leeds in the absence of Cas that is.
It might not be a cup final in the sense of it as you have probably forgotten what that's like. But rest assured your lot will be more up for the game on Saturday than any other.

| Some condescending comments on here - Fev have reached the top 4 due to a late surge in form due to key players returning from injury, especially Briggs and Thackeray who played together for the first time in ages only 4 games ago, so they didn't have to rely on Jordan Lilley, who is a cracking individual player but as yet not a gameplan manager. Fev are playing much better with Briggsy & Thacks. In fact the Rhinos D/R players have done a fine job filling in for injuries but have only been part of the supporting cast, apart from Baldwinson who is a honorary Capper. Unlike Steve Snitch who returned from injury in the last few weeks and has been playing like a world beater. I'm not saying Fev will win but don't put them down, they've had even bigger injury problems and now the key players are back is the reason they stormed into the Top 4, nothing to do with Dual Reg!

| Quote: ThePrinter "Because it's not a SL defence we are facing nor a full time team.
Despite our struggles this year only Warrington have made more metres so we're getting down the field ok to have plenty of chances and with all due respect to Fev they obviously aren't of a fitness/drilled level of SL teams so the difference will tell. The speed of the game won't be what they're use to especially against a team who like to keep the ball alive and offload and can see the last 20 mins being a real struggle for them.
If we can score 4 tries away to the League Leaders of Hull and score 3 against the tough to score against Wigan, it's hardly a stretch to think the try total on Saturday won't be around the 7/8 mark.
I'll go 42-12.'"
Although we do have the best defence in the championship. Better than the full time teams above us, including Leigh.
All the SL team are talking about Leigh being the main threat outside SL, but there's only been 10 point between us this season over two games and we've not played them with a fully fit team.
I expect you to beat us easy in the end but I think we'll give you a game for 60 mins. Despite being part time we are super fit. Our league position is due to us having had a worse injury crisis than you lot this year and ended up playing some games with a second rower at scrum half.
Btw Bradford said they would out number us and despite. Bringing over 2500 fans they were no where near as many of them than Fev fans

Yes your right but it annoys me when the term cup final is used when ever we play a super league teams its very condescending. especially when its used by cas fans who have never even won the title. I may be living in the past but i still see Rovers as a top flight club iv seen us win the league and the cup at wembley, its worth remembering we were never relegated from the top flight, booted out for the good of the game in 1996, and for what?????. Having said all that i cant wait for saturday

| My comments if you check back are not meant to be condescending at all far from it.
In fact I have tried to reel in some of our fans stating we will win by 40 or 50 points.
I have said on paper we should win comfortably but we aint playing you on paper.
I am sure you will give as good as you get and I personally think it will be much closer than some think.
If we don`t win by 50 the team will be slated by many on here.
For me a win is all that matters even by a bad call by the ref giving us a 1 point win in injury time will do me

| As others have said I'd expect a tough game for 40-60 minutes, especially if Fev get on the board early, with Leeds pulling away towards the end.
This game aside I hope Fev go well in the 8s, same with Batley, they've certainly had to work harder than Leigh and London to be involved in the first place and deserve something for that.

We're quite good at major shocks. Our history is littered with them.
But you are correct, anything but a comfortable Leeds win is not going to happen.
Shame it's not at Headingley, I've never seen us lose (to Leeds) there.

Not so sure about us fading towards the end. We haven't done so against any other full time opposition this year.

I think we could really do with a convincing win/performance though. We're the first game of the weekend and on tv, could really send a message to the other teams that we mean business. Limp over the line (or even a loss) and the other sides will start smelling blood.
Looking at the other fixtures I think it's important for Salford to beat Hudds this week but that's a close game to call. In Round 2 they go away to Leigh and if Salford go there on the back of a defeat then Leigh will see that as a great opportunity for themselves to leave a SL club with an 0-2 record and improve their chances massively so the pressure would be on.

| Leeds started to find form at the right/wrong time depending on your perspective.
Leeds will finish top of the pile, 100% record in the 8's for me

Yes you are absolutely spot on Printer.
Don`t get me wrong my heart tells me one thing and my head tells me something else especially how this season has panned out.
There`s no reason why we shouldn`t put 30 on Fev but they have proved in the past they can push full time SL teams all the way and with 3 Leeds players in the team along with one or two ex players they will want to prove a point.
38-12 is my prediction but would not be surprised to see 26-16 in favour of Leeds of course.
