| Wigan have been over-performing since Maguire left & their class players followed. Out of the team against Hull I would only take their wingers, Bateman & possibly Clubb. O'L is a penalty machine who looks like he's gone on a season too long. Compare the Leeds team, I would take probably 10, with another handful in the stands injured. Unfortunately for you I wouldn't take your SH or hooker, which is where you are desperately struggling. You ought to be able to slaughter Wigan, but they will be more up for it than you.

You should ask to do the team talk next week. It is worrying when Cas fans are more upbeat about Leeds than Leeds fans.
Agree re SH and hooker. 1,6,7 and 9 are critical in RL and that collective group has probably been poorest in SL this year.

| Cas played with a nice shape but Leeds' defence was awful. Again. Staggered defensive lines with no communication, lack of urgency getting back and just really, really bad actual tackling. That defence would be exactly what you'd want to play against to get some confidence back and try all your planned moves.

| Wigan were poor themselves V Hull on Friday. Couldn't believe when they got back to within two at one stage, a Leeds trait that. Got to respect the honesty of Wane in the aftermatch pitch interview when he said he wished Hull had won by more or they deserved to win by more or something along those lines.
Wigan were that poor I can't see them winning ..... by anymore than fifty.

Not sure on your rumour, but I am pretty sure he will be back in this weekend.

| Only glimmer for Leeds is that Wigan aren't playing well.
But even another sub standard Wigan performance will be good enough to comfortably beat this Leeds side at the minute.
If Wigan keep it simple and defend quick, Leeds will try and play lateral (ignore doing tough stuff down the middle) and the usual errors /turnovers, poor last tackle kicks will be taken advantage of.

| Sutcliffe called up to disaplinary this week for a dangerous throw on crooks in the 75th minute, grade B 1-2 matches.

Right now i'd take every single wigan player over their leeds counterpart, with the coaching staff as well.
They have actually won some games this season.

As bad as we are I'd never take Tautai over any Leeds prop ever, he's rubbish.....and regardless of our form I'm still glad we didn't end up with Mossop.
Personally think Wigan could've been 4/6 points worst off and having a fight on to keep tabs with the top 4 if it wasn't for Bateman who has been top drawer for them.

| I hope not but this weekend could be the one to kickstart your season. We have been rubbish for most of the season, how we are 2 points off top is beyond me. There is no way we can get a big score against any SL side at the moment as our attack is simply not working.
The key to Saturday is the first 20. If you can get off to a good start and a bit of confidence (and I know you have not played well this season) you are more than capable of beating us.

Sam Tomkins presumably starting this weekend will add a different factor to Wigan's attack.
Thing is we are struggling down the middle in defence, just like in last year's GF, however it's not in Wigan's style to march down the middle with their props. The key is our edges in defence with that being Wigan's strong point in attack with their 2nd rowers/centres/Tomkins linking in and surely JJB can't be picked their again or you'll have a field day (even a rusty Sam Tomkins vs JJB at 2nd row frightens the life out of me after last week). Could really do with Moon back (not even sure if he's got a chance though) so we can shift Keinhorst to 2nd row who'll give us tons of energy, enthusiasm and more mobility in that position.
