I remember him in that game. He impressed me. He had the beard and played in a scrum cap if I recall correctly.

Don't be daft. He's 23. Still developing. He works hard, and can tackle below the neck. Galloway is a 30 year old former Kangaroo. There is a huge difference. Mac has his favourites. This needs to change.

I agree with DHM Singleton is consistent he has been around the first team for 5 years he should still be prone to the brain explosions he has. They are a coaching issue and a player not confident in getting selected without having a MOM performance every week so he tries too hard.
Change the coach you mean?

Nope still no clue. I'm gonna have to get the DVD out and find this fella. Remember stuff from that game, Burrow/Whatmough, Peacock/Perry, Sinfield reacting to a racial slur during a melee in front of the cop and the referee Jason Robinson (?) not being interested plus Manly playing some good stuff particularly Orford and the Stewart's - Steve Menzies in the crowd and now you've placed the seed Cuthbertson in a scrum cap... goddamit. Funny how the mind works.

How am I being daft? He patently hasn't claimed by right a first 17 place. "Mac has his favourites" is a lazy analysis and a poor excuse.

| Quote: tvoc "These days it has to be a memory from the 70's otherwise forget it, as I often do. Were these in WCC fixtures V Melbourne or Manly or am I still way off? Electric car charging on the way to Leeds again so no spreadsheets until tomorrow.'"
Others have already answered that question.
Falloon did indeed play for Souths against Leeds in that Florida game when Russell Crowe and his mate Greg 'Choker' Norman turned up. He was on the interchange bench.
Cuthbertson also played from the interchange bench for Manly at Elland Rd in the 2009 WCC. Here he is back row, second from the right where he appears to be emitting smoke.

| Overall I'm pretty happy with Keith.
First thing is he is not JP so anybody trying to make comparisons will naturally be disappointed.
Remember these points though. He is ex SOO so don't expect SOO quality, he is ex for a reason. He has moved across the world to play a different brand of rugby. He is following a treble winning season in a team that is nothing like what it was last season due to retirements and injuries.
It looks like he is settling now and playing better. His defence is pretty good and has put in some great last minute tackles to preserve the line. Attacking wise he is no worldy but each run needs 2 or 3 men to put him down. Yes he has the odd penalty in him but so do many others (JJB, ablett, ferres).
Like the rest of the team you can see he is improving with each game.
