| Burrow named as the new club captain. Presuming Falloon is fit, that means he starts at scrum half then.
An opportunity missed.

Sutcliffe's first instinct is to dummy and run not pass, which is fine if he's playing next to Sinfield or McGuire MkII or Lilley, but Burrow's first instinct is to dummy and run not pass too, so they're less than ideal partners. Add to that Zak at fullback and on paper we suddenly look a lot less expansive as a team.

| Lilley will still get the bench spot imo, and therefore is likely to still play a big part in up coming games when Falloon is spelled and then moving Burrow to 9 so he will get plenty enough chances to shine. Lets not forget Falloon is still likely to take time to adapt to our systems so having him at 9 with one rookie in Lilley and a relative one in Sutcliffe who is coming back from a long lay off leading the team round from the start is asking a lot. Having Burrow on the pitch for pretty much the 80 minutes is important now more than ever with the loss of Sinfield and now McGuire if only for the experience and familiarity he brings to the rest of the group from the middle of the park.

| Falloon may not even be fit. Broken toes can be awkward sods to heal.

They can blood some young players at a time when expectations are probably at the lowest they've been for a while. If it means finishing 4th or 5th now in order to be significantly better in 2017 and onwards, then fair enough.'"
Completely agree and lets be straight Lilley especially has shown more than enough to be given that extended run of games in his natural and favoured position!

Good sensible post, although I think burrow is most effective spending some time on the bench. Lilley will gain experience playing 40-50 minutes.

Yeah, I just hope Thurston realises it at the time.

| Usually I'd rather see Golding play instead of Walters but in that team as it stands I can't see him adding anything and think it's perhaps better to go with a bench of four forwards. Remembering keinhorst can fill in the back line if needed.

| Handley and Golding to miss out IMO. Only reason you'd potentially want Golding on the bench is if you fancy giving him a spell in the halves so Burrow/Lilley don't have to do the full 80.
Falloon doesn't play Sunday then he has to play in France, otherwise you can't risk throwing him in against North Queensland with so little game time under his belt IMO.

This is our last game Andy, its north Queensland next sunday so assume he is unlikely to be fit now.

| Handley and Walters to miss out for me....I would have Golding on the bench to see how he goes in the halves ....Walters; no thanks...and Handley no room really.
I am assuming and hoping Lilley will start at SH with Burrow at DH !!!!

| Should handley make the 17 I could only imagine that would mean moon playing in the halves, might not be a bad roll of the dice if he still isn't confident with lilley or if sutcliffes fitness isn't quite right.
