Historically tour games have been classed as proper first team games. Hopefully this will too.
As for Morley, a nice touch. I remember him on his home debut for Leeds, and saw him twice be easily GB's best forward in absolute hammerings here against Australia. He was the first ex-Leeds player I really followed in the NRL, although with his tackling "technique" it always seemed a matter of time before he flattened someone illegally. It certainly made it interesting to watch.

So glad I booked my tickets early for this one. It should be a great night, a Send off for the triumvirate, chance to see the Kiwis up close and now a chance to sing for a couple of returning (for one night only) Leeds Legends as well, doubtless it will be a bit emotional too.

Hearing Ali was also playing was enough to get me to open my wallet and let the moths out. 2 tickets purchased for me and the youngest for the Southstand. Only seats left now are 1 here, 1 there, so if you wanted a seat looks like you've missed out.
Can't wait to see the Leeds Legends again.

I heard a very strong rumour from my most reliable source that Ali and Moz are actually part of the 2016 squad planning. If they show up well next week then they get a 12 month rolling contract. |
