It all depends on how serious is the injury. JJB has seen our two first choice props keep their places despite being several years older. So if he makes a good recovery he could still look forward to a few extra years. He has certainly earned the chance.

You can fully understand why the coach and team mates have such respect for him...he really is the epitome of what has made this team a real team these last ten years. To get up to play the ball after suffering such an injury is quite incredible.

As somebody else said it would be a great tribute if he could lead the team out at wembley.

He's contracted for next year and accounted for under the cap. For next, if he wants to put all the man hours in to get back then the club should support that. Next year was planned to be his last anyway. People have written him off all his career-if he wants one more crack and is medically cleared then let's get behind him.

JP had a serious knee injury a couple of years back when he was around the same age as JJB is now and an older Kylie has just recovered from a serious injury. So don't be too quick to write him off as I said he has earned the right. He showed in the semi how effective a player he still is and led the line and took the ball up particularly in that key first 20 minutes.

Neither JP, or Kylie had suffered the serious injuries JJB has in his career, especially in his early career. Add in the minor injuries he's suffered over the past few seasons and I can guarantee that he's more shop worn than JP was in 2010.

If Jonesy wants to continue playing and can recover, then I think the Club will support that.

He has certainly earned a stab at getting back to full fitness. The difference between JJB and the other two props is the regularity of his injuries and the seriousness of them
